The store manager gave me the wrong drink order and was on the phone with a customer. I then asked for her attention after waiting for at least 4 minutes. Kulvinder, the manager, then told me she's on the phone with a customer and I would have to wait. I'm standing in front of her and the other person is on the phone. The customer standing in the store should be the number one priority. The person on the phone should be asked to wait. I started demanding she serve me as I'm standing in front of her and it was their mistake. She refused and started angrily telling me I have to wait. Then she gave me the milk in my tea and it was so full it was spilling everywhere. She then ignored me again when I asked her to dump some out and went to the drive through window instead and when she came back she told me I was being rude and she wouldn't deal with my anger. Of course I was angry. I came into the store was served the wrong thing and ignored 3 times. Please speak with your staff about customer service. She also said she would call me to go get my food order and i said you can bring it to the table and she told me we don't do that. I said the girl who took my order saud you did, she then said she's a trainee and is wrong. So i picked it up. Read moreI am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at your location approximately 10 days ago, and again during my visit today.
During my first visit, I ordered two Masala Veggie Burger Combos. However, I was mistakenly given beef burgers. As a vegetarian, this was not only upsetting but also deeply concerning. I called the store immediately to report the issue. The staff member who answered took my details and assured me that I could return at any time to have my order replaced free of charge.
When I returned today to get the replacement, the supervisor on duty, Navdeep, refused to honor that promise. She stated that the manager, Rajesh, was not reachable and told me I would have to pay for the meal again. I reluctantly did so, as I was left with no other option.
To make matters worse, I witnessed an employee named Khushboo, who had been handling beef burgers, preparing my Masala Veggie Burger without washing her hands. When I requested that she wash her hands before handling my vegetarian food, she gave me an unpleasant look, which made me even more uncomfortable.
This experience reflects extremely poor customer service and a lack of basic food handling hygiene, especially important when dealing with dietary restrictions and preferences. Read moreI haven't been into an A&W for quite some time so I thought I'd give them a shot. Ordered 2 loaded breakfast sandwiches on the whole grain artesian buns. Not the experience I had hoped for. Bun was barely toasted. Eggs were greasy. Ordered sausage & bacon & they only put one type on each. Service was slow, took almost 10 minutes to get my order. I was there around 7am and the drive thru line up was only 3 cars long & no one else in store. Prices are WAY out of whack. I could have got more and way better quality at Sunset Grill & got it a lot quicker. It was on the other side of town, though. Case of convenience for me. You pay for any extras: changing the bun, adding lettuce & tomato to the sandwich, but no discount on price if you don't get cheese... Counter person was clearly frustrsted & the line cooks were so nonchalant when they should have been focused on providing good service & food. Being it was the end of my day, I opted for a frosted glass of A&W root beer. oh... best part of the meal by far. So. Good. Store was clean so they DO pay attention to detail in some ways. If the franchisee sees this review, they should spend a few days on site to see how their business is being run.
