barBURRITO — Restaurant in Orangeville

UPDATE!!! I would like to say that I've revisited barBurrito a few times since my first review and can I just say that I am absolutely BLOWN AWAY!

First, they changed up all their take-out packaging making it much more environmentally friendly! But I really came here to say just how absolutely incredible the customer service has been each subsequent time I've visited. The lovely woman tending to the customers really knows how to go above and beyond to make sure you leave totally satisfied...even the little gestures make your day, this kind of business ethic goes far in a town like Orangeville. I can't commend them enough for listening and taking action to ensure 100% customer satisfaction! ❤ Rating Updated

Great fresh Mexican and much more authentic than other chains, quite comparative to the Mexican food I had in a quaint, little community in Mexico.

It is a bit pricey though for fast food and I was IMMENSELY disappointed that they serve EVERYTHING, including eat-in meals, in STYROFOAM take-out containers, which is NOT recycled in Dufferin County! Considering how busy this place already is and will be in the future, I am appalled thinking of the amount of Styrofoam this place will contribute to our landfills!!! They also don't have any recycling receptacles, and all their drinks are served in glass bottles or cans! Grrrrrr! For this reason only, I likely will not return...which...

Amazing Burritos -- Terrible Nachos! I try to go there once a week because not only do I love burritos but they do make fresh and delicious burritos! However I must point out as someone who not only went to school for Culinary but also worked at multiple bars and restaurants , their Nachos are lacking! They asked me what I thought about them and I was honest, they asked me what could make them better , I still am not quite too sure, maybe if they were layered in cheese as opposed to covered in cheese? and maybe if they were loaded, but for that price I have gotten better nachos in so many other places. I am not trying to dis-encourage anyone to visit this place. Please try their burritos but if you're stubborn and get their Nachos and realise you've had better , don't say you weren't warned! On another note, I hope they get help soon because we all know how busy the dinner rushes can get in Orangeville during weekends and even though the lady and gentleman that works there are polite and kind , they need to find a way to...

zero stars. I never give zero stars. possibly the worst 40 bucks i have ever spent. i ordered 3 tacos, 2 crisp 1 soft. the crisp tacos were retrieved from plastic loosely covered container. i ordered ground beef, steak and chicken. All three were just barely warm enough to cause food poisoning. the taco shells were rubbery - having absorbed the humidity from sitting nearly in the open. the didnt heat the soft shell or the hard shells. the entire mess was cold and disgusting. the steak was so tough and dried out i couldnt chew it. The burrito my husband ordered was nearly as bad. they forgot it on the pannini press and burned it. after wrecking the order - and taking forever to prep ours - keeping stopping to prep some other order (we were only customers) no discount was even offered. i found later it was a skip the dishes order. i won't go back or waste any more money there. and hopefully we dont get...
