This place is a nice step up from the previous Thai restaurant with the food much more flavourful and attention to detail. The owner's responses to the bad reviews written earlier in their first few months indicate that they care enough improve, which is a good sign, although some of the reviews appear to be written by those who don't have much familiarity with authentic Thai food (i.e., haven't been to Thailand or are accustomed to westernized/bastardized Thai food).

We (seven of us ranging in age from 21 months to 80 years old) indulged in the pad Thai, Pad See-Ew, soft rolls, coconut rice, pineapple fried rice, and pineapple curry. The only disappointing dish was the pineapple curry, which was somewhat lacking in flavour yet still a bit too spicy for most of us despite asking for it to be mild.

For those who have compared this to the previous Thai restaurant that was here, the food was prepared on time for pickup (rather than waiting 20 minutes more upon arrival), and with the exception of one dish (cashews in the pad see-ew), detail paid to our food sensitivities/allergies (i.e., nut & sesame-free, no onions, informed which dishes were GF). And as mentioned, the food was much more tasty.

Overall I would rate this newly established Thai restaurant a 4.5, and will upgrade to a 5 if we experience the same quality and service on our next visit. In the meantime, I wish the new owners all the best for their thriving...

Honestly, it's hard for me to give this review, and I wasn't planning on doing it, but it's the right thing to do.

I bought take out last Monday, I got some fried rice, curry noodles, spring rolls, and something else, but to be honest with you, it was the worst food ever and I'm surprised because I tried food at this place ages ago before Covid-19. Perhaps it's new owners and new cooks? Not sure but it was beyond bland, and by bland I don't mean that it needed to be spicy but it was beyond bland as if they don't even add any form of sodium like salt in their food.

It was some of the worst food I have ever tried in my life and this is coming from someone who is a chef, travels for food, I eat takeout almost every day and go to many restaurants. If I ever crave Thai food I would definitely sucj it up and drive to Guelph to have good Thai food.

I will never go back here to spend my hard earned money.

Nevertheless, the service is amazing and the lady that's always there at the cash is very kind and polite but that fact is independent to how bad the food is. I actually threw out the noodles in the garbage, there was no...

I dont mind the food here, it's not as good as Thai for you was but it's good...my issue is with the owners always feeling like they have to argue with the paying customers that had a issue with their food, just say sorry that you were disappointed, please give us another chance and stop being so argumentative...it really reflects poorly on your establishment

UPDATE, thank you for your response but questioning whether or not your customer understands if they liked your food or not is insulting, of course they know what is going on they show up and order what you have to offer and then they can write a review based on their own opinion if they enjoyed it or not, it is that simple, it really is. When you become defensive and try to offer up a reason why they made not have enjoyed your food is in my opinion not the way to deal with it. You can simply apologize, not for how you made the food bc many may have enjoyed it, you simply apologize that they didn't enjoy it...

I remembered how great Kati Thai was the last time I visited. SO. HAPPY. I. DID! Their lunch deals are SUCH A GREAT DEAL! $16 for soup of the day, spring roll, Thai curry with a protein and steamed rice. 1990’s prices for a great lunch! That is WINNING! Quality was tasted and enjoyed throughout the entire combo. They have the best chicken based broth for their chicken wonton soup. When the broth is just as much of an enjoyment as those delicious fresh tightly wrapped chicken wontons, you’ve got an amazing broth! Spring roll was a nice to have before the main part of the combo. The red Thai curry chicken with steamed rice was very delicious and hit the spot. Chicken was fresh and tender and the rice just sopped up that beautiful sauce. Saw that they also had Mango with warm sticky coconut rice. It was the perfect ending to my GALENTINE’S solo lunch! Their Thai iced tea is authentic and so refreshing. Serena was the server at lunch and she was amazing as usual.

I ordered take out and came to pick up my order, pad thai, a soup and red curry. Service was great and the lady at the desk was smiling and super kind. Thai food is a welcomed addition to Orangeville restaurant scene. Overall food was good. The shrimp was likely over cooked or something because it’s texture was very strange, almost shreddy/crumbly/pasty like chewing chicken. This is likely not always the case , I probably got unlucky. I feel that the portion sizes or the price of takeout dishes needs to be adjusted or looked at. A $20 red curry with shrimp and a $7 soup are put in the same size containers. I was expecting a larger portion size to be honest, especially for the curry’s price — I am curious to know if it is exactly the same quantity given for in-person dining. I’ll readjust my review if I learn more about that. Update: I was drinking the veggie soup that I ordered, and found a piece of chicken in it. Frustrating.

I was house-sitting and craving some good Thai food, which is my favourite for the vibrant flavours and portions. Luckily, when driving through the plaza to get groceries for the week, I saw there was a Thai restaurant. I ordered fresh rolls and really enjoyed the fillings and the sauce they came with (though it was barely half full so I did not have enough for my last roll). Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the green curry that was recommended to me over the Pad Thai. It was so bland, I was worried I had Covid and lost my sense of taste and not at all spicy. I've never ordered green curry and had it not be spicy. I did ask for extra hot sauce to come on the side in case I wanted it spicier and had to use all of it but there was still no flavour from the herbs/ lime. From the other ratings, it seems the Pad Thai would have been a more successful choice.
