Atrocious customer service. Please read.
I’ve been a loyal Dominos customer for years, but last night that changed. At 7:03 PM I ordered two pizzas, two cheese breads, three dips, and two drinks. My order arrived at home at 7:37 PM, and the delivery driver named Sarat apologized because he forgot our dips and drinks in the store. Sarat then said he would return in approximately 15 minutes with the rest of our order. 30 minutes later, Sarat still had not returned back to my house to complete the order. When I called the store, the manager advised that the driver would not be returning to our home to complete the rest of our order. I explained to the manager that we were told the driver would return with our paid-for items, and that this was completely unacceptable. The manager said he would call the delivery driver and contact us to let us know what was going on. The manager never called us back. In fact, we called the store 3 times because we were repeatedly told the driver was on their way, when clearly they were not. When our driver, Sarat, returned, it was 8:40 PM. Our food was cold and we were very unimpressed. When I asked the driver why he said he would return in 15 minutes with the rest of our order and then didn’t come back, the driver explained he has a “delivery time” and had to prioritize the orders that were made AFTER ours. I explained to the driver that our order went WAY past their “delivery time” as we made the order 90 minutes prior to the driver’s return, and that this was ridiculous. This is especially absurd because our order was never completed, so why on earth would other orders be prioritized over ours? The driver should have returned with the rest of our order right away.
Overall terrible management and the worst customer service I have ever encountered. If the staff forget your delivery order, expect to wait for another hour (or possibly don’t expect them to return at all) because they have to prioritize other people’s orders that were made after you made yours due to their “delivery time.” I would recommend going ANYWHERE else for pizza. It’s a shame really.
And to the manager: I don’t know how you secured your position but you are not meant for customer service in any...

Management was apologetic and listened to my concerns. Has assured me that all the issues I've brought up will be addressed. Pleasantly surprised.

Delivery driver called me and asked me to meet him in the parking lot to collect my order, since it was raining and he didn't feel like walking to my door. Um...I paid $3.50 for delivery for a reason and it's night time. I called the store because this wasn't right, they apparently told him to deliver it to my door. The man arrived and took my payment, glaring at me the entire time. I opened up the pizzas to see that they were both intentionally trashed by the guy (see photos), I assume shaken. Folded over each other, toppings everywhere.
I immediately called the store and got Alyssa on the phone. Explained the situation, she put me on hold for several minutes, then came back to give me a hard time. I was told that I was a problem customer and that she had replaced every single order I ever made with them ( actually I have a record/ not true/ but nice try), that her manager told her to not help me and that she has my name, number and address and knows that I'm trouble when I call (creepy). Obviously beyond inappropriate behaviour from the delivery driver, her manager and herself. She offered to reluctantly replace my trashed pizzas but only this last time. As if, I never would feel comfortable with food from this location ever again, or a refund. I took the refund. Will never order from this location ever again.
Avoid Simcoe South!!
Grandview has much better service, quality and proper management teams.
Side note, never experienced this issue from the Grandview location. Unfortunately the delivery system defaults to this horrid place. I will be following up with Domino's Head Office regarding this experience. They should let you chose your store.
Refused to provide managers first name. This stores manager clearly doesn't care about...
Read moreI ordered a pizza at 11:54pm. When the driver got here at 12:20am he pretended like he didn’t have change for a 20$ bill. My order was only $7.99 using a coupon. He was pretending like he didn’t have a ten and a toonie, saying I don’t have any change. He was trying to force me to give him all my change as a tip. Then he went in his pocket and accidentally pulled out a ton of bills and tried to give me only a ten bill saying again I don’t have change, mind you I heard change in his pocket digging in his pocket when he grabbed the bills. He was also on a WhatsApp call on his phone the whole time. The driver said let me go check my car for change and then came back with still only $1.75. I live right across the street from the store. It’s ridiculous that he kept trying to force a tip out of me by lying. I even said the store is right across the street you can go get change like I’m not understanding and he still said sorry I don’t have change and was like laughing/smiling. Completely annoyed with the staff you guys hire. Had numerous problems with the new north end location, a staff member was fired for being unprofessional. Clearly all the stores need to be evaluated because a tip is earned and stuff like this and from my past experiences is why I wouldn’t tip dominos again until I’m wowed. So be aware of the “I don’t have change” scam. Dominos is out here trying to...
