Kebabs and More Oshawa — Restaurant in Oshawa

We ordered from them before their official open so they are still take out only at this time. We ordered the meat lovers delight to try many of their different options, along with their cauliflower poppers and masala cheese poppers, and their kesar Lassi.

Let's start with 2 things up front:

1. Be ready for some heat! But a good heat.
2. use their tikme online ordering platform from their website if you can. You'll save a good chunk of change compared to the same order through doordash.

Of the meats that came in the platter they were all objectively good, with such varied flavour profiles everyone is likely to have a different favourite! The generous rice base the meats came on was well seasoned; and the equally generous quantity of masala fries had great flavours too.

The cauliflower poppers were great, we could see making these a staple of our future orders.

The masala cheese poppers were novel, good for a try, definitely different than other cheese poppers / sticks you've tried elsewhere.

Finally the kersa Lassi are sweet with subtle flavours. Everyone enjoyed theirs

Lastly, if you're picking up, be aware that Google maps will put you in the right area but wrong parking lot. It put us in the arena parking lot next door to...

I visited Kebabs & More in Oshawa after reading several positive reviews online, but unfortunately, my experience didn’t quite match the hype.

While the ambience and atmosphere were nice and the packaging of the food was well done, the actual meal was underwhelming. I ordered a rice-based dish, but it felt like plain rice topped with a few parsley leaves and served with old-tasting chutneys. The rice was extremely dry, and the chicken lacked seasoning—it didn’t have any distinct masala or flavor, just a basic, bland taste. For the price we paid (close to $20), the portion and preparation could have been much better.

There weren’t many customers in the store at the time, so I expected the food to be prepared with more attention. It’s possible that we arrived close to closing time, which might explain the lack of quality, but it still doesn’t excuse the poor taste and texture of the food.

Both my spouse and I felt disappointed with the overall meal, though we might give it one more try at a different time to see if this was just a one-off situation. Based on this visit, however, the food did not live up to the positive reviews...

An Authentic Taste of Mumbai in Oshawa! 🇮🇳🔥

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Kebabs and Others in Oshawa, and I can't stop raving about the experience! We tried the Chicken Lollipop and the newly launched Manchurian Prawns, and both dishes were simply phenomenal. The Chicken Lollipop was crispy, fresh, and bursting with the nostalgic flavours that instantly transported me back to the streets of Mumbai. It tasted exactly like home - no shortcuts, just pure authenticity.

But the true star of the evening was the Manchurian Prawns. This new dish was a delightful surprise - perfectly cooked, full of bold Indo-Chinese flavour, and hands down the best prawns I've had in Canada. It struck that rare balance of spice, tanginess, and umami that left us wanting more.

A special shoutout to Vaibhav, who was an exceptional host. His warmth, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality made the entire experience even more memorable.
