The inside of the location has a cool, modern setup. The location itself also isn't too busy.
The issue seems to be the mentality of the staff, their attitude and the way they carry themselves is extremely unprofessional.
First off, the service and communication lacks a little bit. You order something, chances are at least one thing will be wrong with your order. Usually I'd be able to look past this until you get into everything else.
The way the staff talks to you when you have an issue with your order is condescending. They act like you're wrong and don't have any idea on what you're talking about. As someone who frequents multiple Tim Hortons, it's honestly unacceptable. It's also just poor customer service skills. Even at a fast food restaurant, you must have some understanding on how to deal with customers of all kinds, even those who may be unhappy.
Their hours claim they close at 11pm but on multiple occasions I've come between 6pm-8pm and they have been closed. Recently I called to ask what time they close just in case their hours on Google were wrong. I was told that they don't always have afternoon staff as their staff either calls in or doesn't show up. Now, the fact that their staff is so unreliable that they close 4/5 hours early is ridiculous. Then you have the issue that a staff member is handing this info out. As a customer I enjoy the transparency, but it also backs up reason to not go here.
Lastly on top of all that, they are behind the counter having loud conversation at almost any given moment. It's normal to have conversation with your co workers during downtime, but if I can hear every word of the conversation on the other side of the restaurant while trying to enjoy time to myself or with others, that's an issue. I've witnessed loud talking, hollering, yelling, etc.
Yelling has even been someone being told what to or what not to do. It isn't fair to the staff members being belittled in front of...
Read moreI came to this timmies this morning as i do EVERY morning to grab my steeped tea and decided to come inside cause it would be quicker, there was no body inside and the front cash ladies were super welcoming. I had a lovely young woman take my tea order and off she went to make it. I was appalled at the drive thru service workers attitude towards this young lady who was just trying to make my tea and ensure i had good service, because she was not moving fast enough for you, you were mocking her “ i think it’s stirred, we are busy over here, move out of my way”’ she was ensuring my order was made to my standard and that the customer was happy and all you were concerned with was your drive thru times. what happened to good customer service? i worked for this company myself for 5 years and i understand the whole “ drive thru times are important” vibe, but you DO NOT need to make someone else feel little in the process! i really wish i got the name of the woman who served me and the women ( yes multiple) who were rude to her! you ladies are lucky i had to rush to work.
i hope the lady who served me knows that she did an amazing job and my tea was delicious...
Read moreI have no issue with the Tim Hortons food chain as a whole, but i’d rather go to ANY other Tims in the entire country than give these nasty people any business. Aside from the fact that they’ve somehow managed to royally screw up almost every single thing I’ve ever ordered, down to replacing the cheese on my order with a piece of lettuce, old tomato chunks in the cream cheese on my bagel, serving me cold coffee, etc. but apparently now, they’ve taken to denying service to the homeless. This morning, an unhoused gentleman dropped his food on the ground because he was shaking from the cold. He was then accused of falling asleep and asked to leave. Two people spoke up who’d been standing near him and had seen that he was not falling asleep, but they were dismissed and told in was none of their business. He asked for a cup of water because he was dehydrated, and even offered to pay for it, but was kicked out of the store and refused service. I can deal with incompetent people messing up my order on the occasion that I actually purchase anything from this garbage restaurant, but i draw the line at this kind of discriminatory behavior....
