Visited a couple weeks ago with a group of 7 under reservations. My family used to love coming here a few years back however we were disappointed to find that the food wasn't nearly as good as previous visits (change in chefs?) Used to be a reliable, “fancier”, local restaurant but unfortunately will not be returning.

Appetizers: Traditional Shrimp Cocktail ($16) - did not even come in a "traditional" cocktail glass! (as it always had been in the past; also if you're gonna call yourself "Shrimp Cocktail"....) PEI Mussels ($14) - got two orders, the Chorizo Sausage Marinara was quite nice and tasty but the Basil Marinara was very underwhelming Oysters (~$3.5 ea) - didn't try them but was told they were pretty average

Entrees: Smoked Pasta ($27 linguine w chicken, shrimp, scallop, basil pesto) – Mine! Yummy dish, plenty of seafood/protein, no complaints, as for the other dishes… Mahi Mahi ($27 fish w orzo, veggies, shrimp skewer) – my partner’s order; the mahi mahi was SO overcooked it was basically inedible, extremely dry (I tried a small piece which I didn’t bother finishing aka very unlike me), the orzo was creamy but tasteless. The only somewhat redeeming element of the dish was the chili lime shrimp skewer. Steaks – ordered a medium and a medium-well, both were a definite red medium-rare. I don’t recall the other entrees but they were described as “nothing special”.

All that being said, the staff is super pleasant, our server was very friendly and attentive. Free hot bread which they gave us more of for the oyster sauce, and two complimentary chocolate crème brulees for...

I was very disappointed in my experience. I brought my mentor all the way from Brampton to be let down. Over the years I heard that this place was top tier dining in Oshawa. Not at all. First the service was abysmal. Our waitress was better suited for a coffee diner. She was not very pleasant, actually rude. Not prompt or thorough. She sat all of the patrons in one tight area around the front bar as opposed to spreading us out for privacy. My view was the front door and the cooking area. I was not impressed by that. The cooks were wearing baseball caps with various sports teams emblazoned. Not professional in my opinion. They had miserable demeanors as did the rest of the staff in the building. The food was extremely over priced for the quality. I don't understand why I've heard such glowing reviews. Their beet salad was just a bunch of pickled beets and some assortment cold raspberry puree. I thought it was downright unpalatable. The brie was actually delicious and the highlight of the experience. My 10oz steak was well portioned and cooked to order, but was unfavorful and covered in a bacon Jus that masked it. My potato side was a half dozen mini potatoes and a heep of mushrooms. I've had better steaks at many many other places. All in all I would not patronage this establishment again. It was empty except for maybe 10 diners. I can't see this restaurant turning much of a profit. I don't even understand how it's still in operation. Over priced and...

Don't think---just go eat here!!! I've been there a number of times over the years for dinner and now have recently started going in for lunch and the food is simply fantastic and consistent! Went in for lunch today and this is probably the most perfect time to go. It's not too busy, the ambience is quiet and most importantly the lunch menu is (insert chef's kiss)! I ordered the salmon and my hubby ordered the cod and both dishes were just perfection. The fish on both plates were moist, appropriately cooked; the veggies nice and hot right off the skillet. The portion was the right amount and the value for it was 100% worth it. We also ordered the beet salad with the shrimp and that was an entire gastronomic experience on its own. The chef and owner both came over to say hello to us and they were both so kind, hospitable and very much invested in the customer experience. I highly recommend this establishment and encourage diners to book a time where you can really sit down and enjoy the meal without having to rush out the door. The staff take their food and service seriously and each dish is an incredible explosion in your mouth!!! The waitress also deserves a mention; just on top of taking care of you and not pushy but was able to recommend good dishes to us. Thank you to all the staff and management that make the dining...

My best friend found this amazing restaurant in the 3weeks we had to plan our wedding. From the moment we walked in the door, both Chef Andrew and Wanda were amazing. We had tried another restaurant and were disappointed, which we shared during a dinner to check it out. Wanda spent time chatting with us, and told us “once you try the food, you’ll be booking your wedding dinner”. Boy was she right! Aside from feeling like home the food and care that goes into the food is spectacular. We booked for our wedding dinner a few short weeks later. Wow, what a night. Chef Andrew and crew made the most spectacular food for us. My parents (70+ years old) said it was “one of the best wedding meals” they’d ever had. Aside from the food, the experience was like none other. ALL staff repeatedly (but respectfully) checked on us and seemed to genuinely care our wedding dinner was perfect…and that it was. We had two huge seafood platers (one cold one hot), both absolutely amazing! And the modifications for gluten free were also absolutely amazing. We truly can not thank Wanda, Chef Andrew and crew enough. I had not a worry we were in the best hands. Thanks for making our special day—that much more special. Jen & Steve Amaral

Went here for my sons grad. Our waiter was very nice. It took extremely long to get drinks given that there were only 2 other tables out on the patio (COVID19). The oysters were delicious.. Cant go wrong with oysters. The calamari was pre frozen.. Not fresh and for the cost of them should've received alot more. The crab cakes had very little taste, but very nice presentation. Ordered the steak.. Chef gave a bigger piece which my dad really appreciated.. Was told that it was delicious... It should've come with mash but only had mushrooms. Salmon and risotto, was told it was cooked very nicely however no taste. Lamb shank was told there was no taste. My son didn't finish his seafood pasta.. He wasn't too impressed. Cajun pasta was told that was delicious. I ordered the pickerel.. A bit over cooked for me.. And no taste in the fish but the risotto was delicious. All in all spent about $500. I wanted to go to a local establishment as I know Covid had affected alot of businesses. It would've been nice to have a little cake or something brought out for my son as he graduated and the waiter was aware. I think i will try a few other local spots...
