SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! That's all I can say, It is unfortunate that living at South Village residence forces you to get a meal plan but after seeing what the food is like it's not worth it, especially for $6549. The food at BEST is mediocre and either covered in greasy oil or has more fat than actual meat. Some of the staff are nice, but a few always seem grumpy and act grumpy. You want cheese on your Tuna sand which "No it doesn't come with cheese". I guess paying $6500 a year isn't enough for a slice of cheese. And weekends are dreadful, with half the stations shut down leaving very few options for lunch and some options for dinner. Please do not make the mistake I did and DO NOT BUY A MEAL PLAN!!!!!! The true rating would be 0/5...
Read moreI am writing this review to warn anybody going of the absolute worst service and dog food they serve. I have never written a review before but this dinning hall is on par with a trash can or toilet. I can literally get better food quality and service from a low end chinese buffet filled with msg than I can going to the UOIT/DC garbage tier dinning hall. The food they serve here is so bad that student tour groups are warned about the level of garbage food they will provide. When my friends and I went to the sandwhich bar the person there ignored us for a whole 10 minutes!!! Ugh the food hear is so appalling. I dropped a wrap on the ground, good that is where it belongs! Let this be a warning,...

Also, the fact that staying in South Village forces us to pay for a meal plan is crazy to me. If it wasn't expensive I wouldn't complain but for the amount of money I paid, I expected at least better quality foods/drinks. At least, they need to be more attentive over the things that run out in the middle of the day. Yeah, I'm talking about clean dishes, cutlery, cups and the soft drinks and...
