Horrible Starbucks. 2 bad experiences within the last couple of weeks. Early morning and barista and manager are chatting while I make my order (only person in the store). I sit down to wait, staff are buzzing around. After a few minutes, barista and manager stop talking, barista starts to buzz around the oven. I stand up to find out what is going on with my coffee as I am the only one there, and the barista who was chatting (for at least 2 minutes still after I ordered) suddenly looks at me and realizes that she was supposed to make my coffee. I was equally surprised that she was the one who was supposed to be making my coffee this whole time as she was chatting for minutes after I placed my order... No apology, no recognition of her mistake.
I went this morning to Starbucks to work on a school assignment. Wifi wasn't working on my laptop, phone, etc. I inquire about it. The barista says she will go and ask in the back. I hear the person back there (manager) say they are doing something else, the barista replies "no rush!".. I wait 10 minutes.. almost finished my 8 dollar drink now, and inquire with the same barista again and she says "they are finishing another task now but will look into it".... I went to Starbucks for the wifi.... Customers want, and in my case need, wifi. I waited 5 more minutes while I finished my coffee, no wifi, so I left. No communication about the status of the wifi, only rude replies when I inquired about it, and a manager that clearly doesn't prioritize customer experience.
Obviously I won't be returning again. I will do my school work elsewhere from now on and tbh I am sick of spending large amounts of money for coffee for such poor service and such poorly trained customer service...

Where things were wrong...the drink counter was very sticky and had drink spills all around. You couldn't receive your drink without it getting sticky.
I noticed the foam machine for cold brew still had the previous foam in there before it was used again. Definitely a sanitary issue. Pretty sure after each use it should be rinsed.
I brought up the fact that no one could throw out their trash because the bins were overflowing. I mentioned it to one of the staff, but they appeared to be signing out and didn't care much. They mentioned it to another barista and no action was taken. Actual no action taken. The barista continued to stare out the window for a good minute or so.
I was at this location for a good 10 mins and despite mentioning the mess, no one seemed to care for the mess.
The drinks tasted good, but I'm feeling a bit iffy about the foam on one of my drinks.
Cheers to the staff just chilling doing not much I guess. A simple wipe with a cloth would have gone a long way at...

In the meantime I also do Uber eats and often I get orders from this location to be delivered. However, quite few times before and today I have been experiencing somewhat unsettling service as a delivery person which happened today when I went to pickup one of the orders in the evening around 6 pm. When I reached I noticed the order was already ready and just needed to be packed and handed over even then the staff made no communication to me and I noticed it wasn't that busy I still had to wait 20 mins to get the order ready and handed over. I was not greeted at all or asked the details of the order as they knew I was in for pickup however no comments. Many customers who came after me were served right on time and quick but the order that was ready and just needed packing was not resumed. It made me late for my order target and this unpleasant experience made me realize I would not return to this location again to...
