Food was excellent but the extremely rude behaviour of a Bangladeshi lady with Hijab was a turn off. She should be properly trained to behave equally with customers of different race. Her behaviour varied based on the color of skin. She was nice with the last person. As soon as I walked in to order, she started to misbehave. She was in an attacking mode from the get go as if I had done something horribly wrong. I asked for a Butter chicken bowl, she did not hear my order and accused me of confusing her in a very rude manner and said “DONT CONFUSE ME”. I said “sorry, probably for the loud music, you did not hear me.” I reiterated my order that I wanted a butter chicken bowl. She did not say it’s ok or anything and instead gave me an annoying look and went back to making the order. There were forks and napkins on the counter. When she was in process of bringing food, I thought it was selfserve and got a fork and napkin for myself. She came and removed the cutlery tray away from me and in a raised voice said, DONT TOUCH. This tray is not to be touched. I was humiliated in front of other guests. So, I told her back in her same level of voice that, is there any label that says I cannot take a fork and it is not for customers? “If it is for store use only, why you put this on the front counter ?. She goes, DONT Raise your voice. I said you learn basic customer service first. And the in native language, I told her , “BEADOB MOHILA”, meaning uncivilized woman. She started to yell at me in Bangla and I left. I will update her name when I know her name. I should have asked for her manager but I did not. I never felt this disrespected to this level. Tahini in North Oshawa is a true Mediterranean culinary gem! I recently had the pleasure of dining there and was thoroughly impressed with the flavors and authenticity of their dishes.

The restaurant's ambiance was lovely, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The staff was friendly, providing attentive service throughout the meal.

Now, onto the food – it was simply outstanding! The menu featured a wide array of Mediterranean delights, from classic falafel wraps and shawarmas to delectable hummus and fresh salads. Every dish was made with care and the highest quality ingredients.

Went to Tahini's today for National Shawarma Day. I had ordered 4 chicken shawarma wraps and 2 chicken shawarma bowls. For two of those sandwiches I asked for no pickles and for one of the bowls no pickles and for everything medium spice. I brought it home and every single one of my wraps and bowls had pickles, all other ingredients were left out and no spice either. I don't understand why it was that hard to follow very simple instructions. I understand this is a cheaper deal but just because of that it shouldn't be done with half an effort when the bowl and wrap should be coming with garlic, tomatoes, pomegranate molasses and parsley and pickle. The only ingredient in every wrap and bowl was pickles, no other ingredients was put in. This was truly the most disgusting and disappointing meal my family has ever had. We all had to add hot sauces and additional sauces to make it taste half decent. When this location first opened they made all their food so flavourful. I don't see myself going back here again even though this place is is the place my daughter is always craving.
