1st visit - We were on our way through and needed a breakfast that offered more than a mcmuffin could. A local pointed us in the direction of Jojo's.

The atmosphere is warm and busy and the staff were cheery and chipper.

We ordered a pair of breakfast sandwiches. An English muffin topped with a freshly cooked egg, back bacon, tomato slice and your choice of cheese. Swiss or processed, obviously we went with the swiss. Then there is the mayo, they make it. Yeah, I know. The lost art of fresh made mayonnaise is a rare treat.

The sandwiches were hot and perfect and filling. Nothing shiny or extravagant, just plain good.

My partner ordered a brewed coffee (And was asked which roast he wanted, he chose medium). I ordered an iced mocha.

My drink wasn't overly sweet and the espresso was the dominant note, just the way it should be. My partners coffee was awesome. A rich flavour with a delicious finish. We almost left with a bag of beans.

I couldn't help but leave with a blueberry muffin. (Still warm from the oven)

Overall, would absolutely go again. Decent prices and awesome food.

2nd visit (4 days later) And here we are...we needed a lunch stop on our way back home.

We both ordered the Big Turkey Sandwiches and they were spectacular. That damn fresh made mayo, you guys are wrecking me for stuff in a jar.

I ordered an iced London fog and then an iced Americano to go. Both were delicious and I am absolutely buzzed on the espresso in that americano.

I bought a baked bar. The name escapes me, possibly a wow bar. Coconut, chocolate...all the good things. One bite so far and it is super sweet but crazy good.

Back on the road again with a bag of house blend coffee beans and a bag of espresso beans in tow. 1 pound bag = $13.95. Worth it.

As this review has spiralled into an espresso fueled mish mash of kudos, let's just end it by saying....

We came is just as they were closing...disappointing because the reviews seemed really good and we are first time visiters. Bryan was the Customer Service server assisting us as he explained what was still available. We proceeded to order was left...coffee, a piece of pie and a 16 Oz cup of strawberry lemonade....he filled the cup 3/4 full with ice, I then spoke up and said that I didn't want that much ice and to please dump most of it out....he dumped almost 1/2 which I expressed wasn't sufficient and to leave only a few cubes in...that was a major problem for him and he proceeded to get really rude and tell me that wasn't possible and explain the costs of ice vs the drink. I then demanded he do it to which he became sarcastic with responses and then he finally complied. I asked him what his name was to which he refused and when I continued, he listed off a bunch of names. I walked over to a young lady cleaning up and asked her to which she claimed to have no idea...then I asked the other 2 and they told me at the same time as he decided to divulge his name yelling it out. IF YOU ARE AFRAID TO GIVE YOUR NAME AFTER PROVIDING CRAPPY CUSTOMER SERVICE, MAYBE OPENING YOUR MOUTH WASN'T A GREAT IDEA. Between us we have over 70 years of tourism/ customer service experience....what a shame to keep that kind of staff....we aren't just dumb...

Been coming up to Osoyoos for years, been here many times for breakfast sandwiches. They’ve always been good. Went there Sunday and decided to have their special. It was eggs benney. I love that breakfast. We ordered as usual. It was busy, so I expected a little wait. Sat down to have our coffees. The place went though the large line up. Everybody getting their meals. Some sitting down other’s take out. With the place empty, we still haven’t had our meal. I was starving. When we finally got our meals and they looked great. When we went to eat both of our benney’s they were cold. I would have sent them back but another line had formed and I would have had to wait in the line. We were hungry so we just ate them. After finishing I went to the counter and let them know. The girl just looked around. No apology, no nothing. Very disappointing. Don’t think I’ll return You have to tip before getting your meal. I...

Yummy coffee shop with all the expected options and fresh baking. Went with a muffin and it was still warm with melty chocolate chips and lots of raspberries. The home made granola in the yogurt cup is better than any store bought granola I've had - crunchy and flavourful (hint of orange peel?) and filling paired with a muffin. Partner has a breakfast sandwich and it looked really good - lots of melted swiss cheese. Comfortable chairs and also an outdoor option, or take out and go for a walk. No pictures this time, too hungry! We went back for a second morning and I remembered pictures. Five bite breakfast more than 5 bites for me and went well with a salted caramel latte. Not any pricier than Starbucks, and JOjo's is local. Also enjoyed the heavy ceramic cups and comfortable seating. Lots to look put, lots of Jojo themed items. Love this place!

I’ve been a summer kid in Osoyoos my whole life, and one of my favorite traditions has always been stopping by this local coffee shop. Back in the day it was Jojo’s, and now as Gino’s, it continues to be such a special part of the community. It makes me so happy to come back every year and see how the new owners are taking such great care of our little town home—creating a warm, welcoming environment where everyone can gather, catch up, and enjoy some delicious treats. The coffee is always fantastic, and the snacks are just as memorable. If you go, you have to try the date bars—they’re a 10/10, absolutely delicious! On top of that, Gino’s keeps things fun with their seasonal and summer specials for kids and non-coffee drinkers!
