Upon entering the store, staff were huddled in a group of three chatting behind the cash, which I have no problem with. What I do have a problem with is this...
I went to grab a table before going to order only to be aggressively accosted by a staff member who immediately began scolding me for sitting there. She told me it had to be wiped down first, again which I understand. however, instead of simply wiping it down for me right away like all the other locations have done, she told me I had to sit somewhere else because it "takes time to wipe down the tables", only to return to the social huddle behind the cash. I understand the rules and regulations that come with the Covid situation, but the way it was handled just came off as rude and unnecessary. It takes 5 seconds to thoroughly wipe down a table for a customer, and I was one of 3 customers in the store. I would of had no problem sitting at the smaller table, but I had a lot of books and a computer with me and I needed a bigger surface. All this being said, I quietly left and I hope the next time I return the staff will be welcoming,...
Read moreTo start off, this is not to bash bridgehead as I love bridgehead but I needed to write this down.
Show up on a Saturday morning near 9 am. Small lineup nothing big. Ask the barista how they are doing ? Their response was good, without a smile. Didn't even ask me how I was doing. Cue silence for 5 seconds I then order 2 coffees. I get to the coffee station and it is filthy, milk, cream and sugar on the counter. That's ok, it happens sometimes !
What irked me was when I came to put sugar in my coffee, it was completely empty, the employees seemed annoyed when I let them know the situation, they just looked at me and made the exchange with no communication...
It is all littles things that added up that made it a bad experience and also the reason no tip was giving. I am hoping the baristas end up on this review to further better themselves and maybe have a chance to get tips in the future.
The coffee was excellent and the Danish was sublime. There is nothing wrong with the location. I would just say that maybe there is missing some customer service from the employees at...
Read moreLet me be honest about a few things. First, I really enjoy Bridgehead coffee. I value the ethos behind their product and I enjoy the freshness of what they provide. Second, regarding this location I love the vibe/atmosphere. It is bright and the staff is friendly and is a great place to hold my one-on-one meetings. BUT, and unfortunately this is the reason for rating them so poorly, their internet speeds are absolutely brutal. The posted speed shown was at 7:30 a.m. when I was the only person on their network. I enjoy going to Bridgehead to work outside of the office but everything I do is online and at those speeds it is nearly impossible to get anything done. I have written the company several times over the past year with no resolution to this issues. Whatever they are paying their ISP they are paying too much...unless it is free. It feels as if they are trying to discourage people from coming in and working in this way. Anyway...if you're looking to work on anything that needs internet access this store will not be a good place for...
