Horrible experience at this location. I have been a regular customer for many years now as have my friends and family who will not be returning ever. My husband wrote a review as well about our experience and the manager responded with some false statements and failed to mention some things that happened as well. Service starts at the door which was not good at all. The hostesses were dismissive when we inquired about possible tables as we were a party of 8. I did NOT ask that a customer be moved to allow tables for us as the manager claims. I asked why the couple could not be placed at either of two empty tables around him rather than beside him so that when he left we could use both of those free tables. I am aware of fire hazards however I have sat in the section I am referring to as a large group many times. They also asked us to wait outdoors with 2 children and a BABY in our party and did not ask several other couples to do the same. Keep in mind this is Feb. 3 of us went inside for a few minutes to allow one child to warm up and were asked again to wait outside while other adults were not being asked to wait outside. The manager responded to the review that we could have waited in our cars. To wait 50 minutes in a running car with 3 children is not feasible or legal. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait which we were fine with and really not that upset that it took longer, it was the hostess' dealing with it or lack thereof that frustrated us. When we finally got our table the hostess did not apologize for the longer wait nor asked us if we needed a highchair for the baby or colouring for the kids who had waited so long. We had to ask for this and the colouring was never brought to our table. The only one who did apologize was our server. Fast forward to the end of our meal 50 mins. We paid our bills then the manager comes to our table and abruptly asks if we had a problem with the service. We thought she was coming to apologize for the long wait and to check how our visit went but she was not. When we started to respond about what happened she cut us off rudely and said the young server was in tears as we had left 0 tip. This was false there were two bills to which one gave a 20% tip. When we mentioned this she said "no you didn't, I saw the bill" basically accusing us of lying. So we asked to see the bill, she went to get it and said see no tip. This was the other bill at the table, so HUMILIATING a customer as she was yelling at us, yes YELLING unlike she claims that she was not and not even knowing if our daughter was going to leave a cash tip on the table. Maybe a tip is customary but not mandatory. She then yelled at us to leave and to never come back!!! Basically got kicked out, yelled at for not leaving a tip and not even letting us speak. I then got up to approach her to discuss this to which she was storming off and said she didn't want to discuss this further. I continued to follow her and she was discussing our situation with another person who was seated at the bar. Very unprofessional. I did not apologize about some of my party's behaviour as she claims in her response I apologized that the server was upset. She then proceeded to tell me this server's personal sad issues as to why she was already feeling down which is unprofessional and absolutely irrelevant. She also mentioned the servers only make $12.00 an hour? This manager does now know our personal issues, we could have our own personal sad circumstances of any kind. My step daughter, single mom of two could have financial issues and could perhaps only afford the meals or she may have been going to leave a cash tip. All to which the manager did not care to consider before blasting us, yes YELLING, while others were still in the restaurant and children present. This whole terrible experience was uncalled for especially the actions of your manager. I work in the customer service industry and would never dream of treating customers the way your manager did. It was horrible, humiliating and appalling. Will never return to...
Read moreIn March I ordered a breakfast wrap for pickup. When I got home I noticed I was charged $5 more than I was supposed to be. I even checked on the website to verify. I called and the manager told me that they hadn't updated the website yet with the new prices... so they charged me without letting me know that the price went up. The manager said he would take care of me the next time I was in. That day was today, I went in at 2:55pm and sat on the patio. We ordered a "cotton candy" milkshake and an order of wings. The server named Felix brought us the milkshake- rotten milk and didn't taste ANYTHING like cotton candy. When he came back I told him that the milkshake was disgusting in polite terms. Thinking he would take it off of the bill because there were 2 sips taken out of it. He brings me my bill and charges me full price for the completely full disgusting excuse for a milkshake. He has the nerve to give me attitude saying I ordered it and I have to pay for it. He takes my $20 and doesn't give me the change!! The restaurant was COMPLETELY EMPTY I am the only customer and this is the customer service you're giving? I have given this restaurant one too many chances and will NEVER RETURN. The owners bully their employees and the restaurant/ food quality no longer matches the outrageous prices. Worst restaurant experiences I've ever had in Orleans. Ohhh and if you're allergic to bees stay away because this restaurant is infested and has been for 5+ years and they've done...
Read moreHaven't been to Broadways since the pandemic started so decided to treat my daughter and I to a well deserved breakfast alone together after dropping her car off for service. Restaurant was quiet when we arrived at 8:30 AM June 30th 2022. Waitress was pleasant and attentive. My 2 eggs and fat sausages were good w/ a side of rye toast. Coffee was great and a pleasant change from most restaurant dishwater brews. I convinced myself the garlic and onions option with the home fries was a good idea - Not! The onions were like they had been boiled and then tossed on the grill last second and the garlic was there but lost mostly. Those poor potatoes deserved a good browning and no amount of S&P or ketchup made them better. RIP taters. My daughter ordered two soft boiled eggs medium boiled but they came soft & runny she coped although watching her try to put the eggs on the toast as they broke and ran was amusing. Her plate came with a lovely side of fresh fruit which were delish, and the lackluster potatoes which she insisted on doggy bagging for home. They made it to the composter later that day. Fear of salt and or seasoning is a restaurant's worst enemy. Praying Broadway's looks at the bland soft home taters problem and throws a bit of roast potato seasoning or something on...
