Guac Mexi Grill — Restaurant in Ottawa

My first time ordering from Guac. First of all my food was delicious and flavourful. I found the portions adequate certainly not skimpy. I had a couple of problems. I ordered three items churros, a 2 meat burrito and a barbacoa burrito bowl. The churros were great, the burrito arrived hot and delicious but the third item a burrito bowl had issues. First of all it was not hot in fact it was barely room temperature. I've never had a cold burrito bowl but perhaps that's the Guac way? I prefer it heated. The other issue was minor but I ordered pineapple and it was not in the dish. The food was delivered in an insulated container so I don't think the cold dish was entirely a result of delivery. Decided to try Mexi Guac for dinner. They boast and almost entirely gluten free menu and Celiac procedures.

The food was awful. I got a barbacoa burrito bowl with Chips and queso. The queso is a strange Grey paste with flecks of black "seasoning". The bowl has no discernable flavour besides black pepper corns, which is very concerning considering the amount of mild salsa and lime crema that was put on the bowl. I don't know if it was the rice that is so over powerfully seasoned, or if it was the meat, but either way I got 2 bites out of it and I can't stomach it at all. I'll stick to...

So on average I order from here almost weekly and the last month I have had been disappointed multiple times with either added onion when I don't click it as an option (and also write it in the notes on the delivery order with a no onions please) or missing salsa Verde which I do check off. Please have the staff put more care and attention into serving your customers because as we all know money is hard earned and I am not enjoying wasting mine on a meal that is not made proper. I will be thinking long and hard about if I will be a return customer again after my wrong order yet again this evening...
