Burrito Gringo Mexican Grill ( Barrhaven) — Restaurant in Ottawa

Stay far away from this place.. Found hair in my Burrito Bowl half way through my dinner went to speak to staff. The two men working there refused to compensate me or make me another bowl, as I kindly suggested. They said they had to speak with the owner which the owner was not there and told me they had to take a picture of the hair for evidence, but the staff were playing with it lol. I'm assuming trying to tamper the evidence, but little do they know I already took a picture. I also had a friend with me as a witness, but they refused to help me and suggested I call the owner another day. I then asked for the phone number, again refused to give it to me. I just spent $30.00 on small portions for 2 and the staff there are very slow, unprofessional and rude. They had no clue how to give a receipt from my purchase and the monitor was not working as well. To say the least I'm not impressed and in the end I didn't finish my dinner nor did I get compensated. I think head office needs to know how they are doing business and finding hair in food is a health Hazzard...

Service was very slow and they didn't have any vegetables left whatsoever. Basically I paid 15$ for an overpriced bowl of Hamburger Helper. "That's OK" I thought – at least I'll grab a dessert! No dessert available either... just a few stale crumbs left on a spinning tray.

So after waiting 10 full minutes to pay for my sub-par meal, I sat myself down in the desolate eating area. This was also a huge letdown – the walls were pure white and there was no ambiance whatsoever. No soft music. No pictures on the walls. None (if any) decor. Nothing.

Instead of eating in a Latin themed restaurant, it felt like I was choking down stale leftovers in a sterile hospital room after waking up from open heart surgery.

In its current state, this restaurant is offensive to all known human senses and I can't recommend...

Took a chance and popped into this location for the first time. At first I was confused looking at the screen, but as soon as I engaged with the lady I think she was the manager of the place , my opinion changed for the better. She was such a nice lady, very friendly as well. She was so quick to make my order. The conversations were enjoyable. The burrito bowl was actually pretty good , and she offered me a sample of the chips to try. It was also super yummy. The mild sauce tasted fresh so I will definitely recommend. Honestly the service was what shined the most to me and how clean it was. The food came out in big portions so it’s worth every penny. Honestly great experience and will for sure come back. Thank you...
