I am a cookie addict. A Cookie Monster? * dusts crumbs off pants*- I am a cookie connoisseur🤌🏼🤌🏼. And let me tell you, these cookies ain’t no joke. I’ll briefly mention that the service was prompt and friendly.

They had about 8 or 9 different cookies on display. These were huge, sufle style, puffy cake like edges with a perfect golden brown crisp. The centre was dense, moist and loaded with chocolate chips. The price point was extremely fair. What stood out to me was the batter- it was perfectly sweet but balanced by a very noticeable saltiness eluding to butteriness. The sugar used tasted not of molasses sugar but white sugar that was caramelized. What through me off in a wonderfully nostalgic way was this subtle taste of banana.

Another important rating factor is in the chocolate chips. Clearly a semi sweet chip used in this recipe and while the chips INSIDE the cookie felt almost excessive the chips ON the cookie took it way too far. I’m sure it would serve them to be a little more fickle with the chocolate chips.

And if they made their cookies about 15-20% smaller the ratio of crust to gooey goodness would be more balanced- as other reviews mention and I can agree the gooey centre is… a lot mostly as consequence of too many chips. For a 20% smaller cookie I would still be happy to pay the same price.

WOW! I've been wanting to go to Chippers for months ever since I heard of it and it did not disappoint! Breaking those cookies in half literally made my week. The bakery is a cute lil space with room for just those massive cookies and a couple customers. I'd just like to say the value for money for these cookies is unbeatable! You are getting SO much cookie for only $3.50 each. They have walk in discounts for dozen and half dozen cookies too! When I picked up my box it sure was hefty and it was fun to share and try all the flavours. One cookie is more than enough to keep me satisfied and just keep in mind the cookies are quite sweet which is understandable since that's the tradeoff for that cakey, soft, gooey texture. I can't wait to be back to try more flavours and...

If you're looking for a dainty wafer of mild taste, you've come to the wrong place. If you crave a listless, airy biscuit that snaps like autumn's leaves, this is a grave error. These cookies will overpower you - you will be defeated; subjugated. They have  h e f t.

Looking for flavor? Step through one of these chewy portals and you're there, bucko. Every other cookie is ruined for you now. You're slipping grandma's cookies to the dog. You're calling up Mr. Christie and telling him to stop wasting your time.
