The Indian guy with the glasses is very rude. He threw my cream order to me when I was trying to return it. He mixed up my order and I said I would pay the difference. I came in and ordered sorbet. He said I ordered vanilla ice cream. I did not because I cannot eat dairy ice cream. I asked the lady to read out my order and it was wrong so I said I wanted sorbet and she said it cost extra and I said no problem I’ll pay the difference. Then she said no problem we made a mistake and we will fix it. The manager said no said I said ok no problem I will just need a new receipt. He said ok. As I’m paying for the difference he asks so u want the reciept and I said yes. This shows he does not listen at all. Then when we were waiting for more of the order and my sisters mini come fell of he scoop and he saw it fall. I asked if we can get it replaced he said that will cost extra because it’s not my fault it fell. We said u literally saw it fall. And he said not my problem. So I was just disgusted by his response so I just asked for a refund. He said he cannot give me a refund because I bit the top of my scoop. I told him I did not want it because the cone already fell. Then he said you know I’ll give you the refund but the garbage is over there. That’s not my problem. I stepped back and said I was polite the whole time why are u being so rude and he said u came yelling at me and said this is wrong this is wrong. I never told him the order was wrong accept the girl and I was polite because I saw her using a different ice cream. I only told him I said sorbet when I was ordering. He lied and said we were rude when we never had a problem with paying the difference. He was sooooo rude and nasty and I will never go there again. I also called him a b for lying because I hate liars. He said he was going to call the police I said call them idc, my friend needs the rest of her order. He called. After 5 mins of waiting for the rest of her order we left. I don’t get scared when they threaten to call the police because I did nothing wrong. The other female employees and cameras can back me up. As well as the customers. Don’t go there if he is on shift because he will mess up the order and not take accountability. Lovely place horrible service. Btw third visit. All good until meeting him. And idc he was b. A sour one with lots of dramatic sass. 10/10 for his...
Read moreAfter wanting to find out first hand what all the fuss was about here, I was unfortunately quite disappointed by my first visit. For starters, the line was insanely long and service moved remarkably slow, with the slow rate of passenger flow being exacerbated by my next point.
The menu is unnecessary convoluted, complicated and hard to understand for anyone who hasn't been to the restaurant before. Coupled with the already disproportionately high prices, customers obviously want to make the right choices for what they want. This being said, the cashier who served me had no compassion to me being new to the restaurant and told me quite bluntly that I needed to pick the "Kooky" flavour I wanted ASAP; I definitely felt pushed through the line like I was nothing but a number.
Then after I paid I'm waiting at the bar for an even longer time than I waited in the cash line. Many people who ordered after me received their products before I did and many people didn't select their flavours or customizations at the cash, which then slows down the production rate of the ice cream "baristas" who need to keep asking customers what flavours they want and in turn increases the amount of time customers who already selected their flavours.
After receiving my Cookies and Cream "Kooky" Cheesecake I was a little disappointed with what I got for what I now consider to be an overinflated price tag. They could at the minimum include a dollop of ice cream or whipped cream but there was none to be had and the Cookies and Cream "white chocolate" fondue on top didn't even taste like it included white chocolate. The cheesecake filling tasted average but the graham cracker crust was way too thick and frozen to have balanced bites.
Ordering 2 for $5 42 gram bars on the side, I was disappointed to see they were wrapped in plastic AND placed in small, printed cardboard boxes. "Salted Caramel" only had the flavours of salted caramel but no actual caramel filling as would be expected and "Creamy White" tasted more like nothing than white chocolate, coming from a white chocolate fiend myself.
The service is slow, the lines are very long, the seating area is crowded and dirty, the prices are inflated and the chocolate is pretty subpar compared to other...
Read moreI would have given this place a 3 if I hadn’t called the Favoris location for an explanation, but now I’m beyond frustrated. My sister and I came here to get ice cream cones. We’ve been customers several times before—yes, it’s overpriced, but at least the ice cream tasted good. Not this time.
The chocolate ice cream we bought had a disgusting, gritty texture—like eating sandpaper. It left an oily, waxy residue in my mouth that wouldn’t wash out, almost like butter coating my tongue. It was revolting and completely ruined the experience. Concerned about what we just ate, I called the store for answers. Instead of taking responsibility, they brushed it off, saying they’ve been “trying to fix the issue” and that it was “normal” because the ice cream was too frozen. Normal? Are you kidding me? Selling customers a product you already know has a problem, then dismissing complaints with excuses, is unacceptable.
I’m honestly disgusted. For the ridiculous prices you charge, the bare minimum is to sell safe, high-quality ice cream—not this gritty, greasy mess. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in...
