Disappointing Experience at Harvey's
I recently placed an order through the Harvey's app at 10:55 pm with a pick-up time of 11:07 pm. Since I was already in the parking lot, I decided to wait. During that time, I saw four different cars enter the drive-thru and eventually leave, as the store seemed completely empty.
By 11:09 pm, I went through the drive-thru myself, but by 11:20 pm, the place still appeared vacant despite my order being confirmed. I called the store multiple times, and on the third try, someone finally answered. When I asked if the drive-thru was open, they simply told me to come by, without any apology or explanation. I mentioned I’d been waiting over 10 minutes, and the employee said that the person responsible had “gone missing.”
After waiting five more minutes, someone finally showed up and started making my order. Meanwhile, I saw multiple cars attempt the drive-thru, only to leave due to a lack of service. Neither the person who answered the phone nor the employee preparing food made any effort to address these waiting customers.
When my food was finally prepared, the employee seemed visibly frustrated, roughly assembling the burger. To top it off, I received my order with no napkins or fork, making it hard to eat my poutine. The employee handed me the meal without any apology for the delay and was notably rude.

Read moreI recently visited this Harvey's location drive-thru, and I must express my disappointment with the customer service I received. As a regular customer who orders the same items at various Harvey's locations, I was shocked by the treatment I encountered during this visit.
I approached the drive-thru and requested additional toppings for my order, a request that has never been an issue at other Harvey's locations, and I even have receipts to prove it. However, the lady at the drive-thru flatly refused, stating it was a new policy and that only the manager could handle such requests.
When I sought clarification and inquired about the change in policy, she not only refused to provide any information but also declared that the location is not a franchise. This contradicts my understanding, supported by evidence from my dash cam, that it is indeed operating under the Harvey's franchise. This inconsistency raises concerns about the authenticity of their affiliation with the Harvey's brand.
The attendant's rudeness and lack of cooperation were particularly disappointing. If this location does things differently, as she claimed, it creates confusion and reflects poorly on the overall Harvey's brand. If it truly is not a franchise, then why operate under the company's name?

I just visited this place with my husband to pick up an order, and it was hands down the worst dining experience I've ever had. We arrived at 11 PM on a freezing cold night (around 3 degrees Celsius), only to find the door locked. We stood outside for a staggering 15 minutes, shivering and confused, while an employee inside completely ignored us.
This overweight Caucasian man in his 40s finally acknowledged us, but instead of helping, he started yelling incoherent instructions at us in the most condescending manner possible. His attitude was shockingly rude and unprofessional, as if we were an inconvenience to him. He rudely gestured for us to go to the driveway, which was not only confusing but completely unnecessary.
It was evident that he had no customer service skills whatsoever—his demeanor was dismissive and disrespectful. We felt completely unwelcome and disrespected during our entire interaction. After enduring his awful behavior, we left with a decision never to return to this place
If you value your dignity and want a pleasant dining experience, steer clear of this place. The customer service is abysmal, and the staff clearly has no regard for their customers. Save yourself the trouble and find a restaurant that actually cares about...
