I must say today my interaction with one of the staff members from St Laurent Jimmy the Greek was a complete disaster. We were three customers wanting to purchase food. It was close to 3:00 pm. The lady serving us seemed somewhat annoyed. I asked for a few extra black olives. She said she was only allowed three per plate. I explained that at a former time I mentioned this to Jimmy the Greek owner. He said he would look in to it. Today I realized he just provided me lip service. Now going back to the lady server; she become irritated when I insisted on being served a few extra black olives. She blew her stack. She told me I was rude. She told another server beside her that she was not going to complete the 3 orders. I said good as I did not want her to continue the discord. She then said that we were not to be served. An assistant manager came to speak with my husband and she explained what Jimmy the Greek's serving policies are. His staff must abide by his policies. My husband suggested the lady server drop her ranting. Her service was extremely lower class. We left and Jimmy the Greek lost close to $100.00. My question Mr. Jimmy is how much money would you have lost today by serving me 5 olives...
Read moreJust came to buy a chicken souvlaki meal; there were two kebabs left…my partner and I took them for our meals but they were ice cold. I went back to tell the staff; seeing that the new batch of chicken souvlaki came out fresh and steaming after we walked away….I let the staff member know how cold the chicken was and the risk of selling/eating cold chicken. I asked him if the meat was over 180 degrees Fahrenheit. He got ignorant really quickly- pointed at his certificate from the city and told me to stop arguing with him AKA me speaking respectfully to him. As the gaslighting continued he told me to go to the family washroom to heat up my food🤯! I wonder if my skin color being black played a factor in his ignorance…but if a normal person wouldn’t eat in a washroom, why would I heat my food where another person defecates and urinates ????
