Burrito Gringo Mexican Grill (St Laurent Shopping Center) — Restaurant in Ottawa

I'm a big fan of Buritto Gringo, and have been their advocate since they first opened their Bronson location all those years ago. I started a payday burrito ritual at my workplace, and was even considering having them cater my wedding. However, my friends and I have had rotten food and food poisoning from this location twice and reported it both times with no response from their ownership.

My advice if you stick with them: Taste your food, if it tastes at all fizzy, or sour, do not eat it. 🤮

I had a terrible experience with this restaurant. I ordered two "Buy One, Get One" bowls om skip the dishes, which meant I should have received four bowls in total, but they only sent two—clearly trying to be sneaky. When I reached out, they acted as if nothing was wrong, showing zero accountability.

Not only was the order incorrect, but the food itself was disappointing. The portions were small, and the quality was below average. It felt like they were cutting corners in every possible way.

I had the tofu burrito and the tofu was really dry and in big cubes, which isn't ideal for a burrito. My friend said the same thing about the chicken: dry. The whole burrito just feels like one drab flavour and texture. The guacamole was also 2.25$ extra, which personally, I feel is too much.
