I have been visiting this location for month's almost every day I sit in the only two seat table behind the wall just on the other side of the cash register. Almost every day I am there, Every day children come into the store, they do not order anything. they scream, fight, damage McDonald's property and I my self have been threaten with violence on two occasions ( not brave enough to do it on camera.) Last night was the LAST STRAW. McDonald's birthday, so I whent for supper again. After ordering a coffee and a birthday cake flurry to start I finished both and was just about to order my food when the owner walks up to me and says if your done you have to leave we are going to get busy so the table is needed. there was several tables open with two tables occupied with those children again. No food order? No drinks screaming and pounding there fist off the glass, table and spreading the garbage. Funny they were not asked to leave. I did nothing but try and have a peaceful meal. I was a loyal customer spending good money those kids do not. So since the owner prefers to have children destroy everyone's meal instead of an adult with money paying his employee's paychecks, light's, heat with the other expenses of running a business ( but what do I know.) I am thoroughly disgusted with the fact that my money was not enough and was asked to hurry up and get out. Well To the owner of that McDonald's you should be ashamed of your self. Why would I...
Read moreHad an almost unbelievably bad experience here recently. I came in for lunch on a weekday and immediately upon walking in, I noticed how dirty the lobby was. Tons of dirty tables with garbage on them, some garbage just sitting on the floor, and the garbage cans were totally overflowing. Horrible attention to the lobby. Oh, and they've gotten rid of the drink machines in the lobby. No more refills!
I ordered my food at the kiosk, then went to wait for my order at the front counter. The scene I witnessed was beyond unprofessional. The lobby was busy but a manager and other workers were just sitting and paying attention only to the drive through. They would stop to chitchat in the drive thru side while not even acknowledging the front counter area.
The woman working the front counter area was beyond unprofessional. She was coughing loudly into the air repeatedly, and whining loudly to the manager that she wanted to go home. The manager was completely ignoring her, and she continued to make a scene in front of everyone. It was super awkward, and seeing that woman cough openly onto food was disgusting. Absolutely unprofessional staff and management, completely unbelievable.
The food was fine, and luckily the coughing whiner wasn't the one who touched my food. However I won't be returning to this McDonald's unless I absolutely have to. Clearly the management here don't have a...
Read moreI know McDonald’s it’s any longer an example of customer service quality, but this store manages to be way below the average expectation.
It’s ok to get the orders wrong, especially if it’s an order for five people. Rarely we get the order right, but what’s concerning about this store is the lack of empathy with the customers.
I understand the employee has many reasons to be unhappy, but it’s not the customer’s fault.
In a nutshell, it was missing a sandwich in my order, the employee said it was not missing, even after checking the receipt . I had to point out the missing item so she could see it. After she realized her mistake, no apologies and instead she just careless dropped the sandwich in the bag just like it was a favour she was doing to me.
I had 2 bags and a set of drinks impossible for one person to carry out that way.
I asked for the bags with handle and she gave only one. I had to ask for another one.
No sorry, no thank you, just a terrible service.
As I worked at McDonald’s in the 90’s it’s especially disappointing what it became.
In my days we made mistakes, but we always tried to make up for the customers and everyone had the mindset of customer service excellence.
Very frustrating.
If you can, go to the McDonald’s at Terry Fox with Hazeldean. They are also unable to get large orders right now, but they are glad to...
