April 2023 update: This Red Swan location has become our weekly Pizza joint. Quality has not disappointed us a single time, they are consistent with the amount of ingredients as well as the Pizza being cooked to perfection. Employees are courteous and happy to help.

Truly fantastic pizza and service. We have tried most of the chains in the area, and a few of the smaller restaurants that are highly rated. Red Swan Stittsville serves the best Pizza we have had so far in Ottawa.

What makes Red swan Pizza unique: Sesame crust is delicious (we had traditional crust and yheybalso have thin crust). Really high quality ingredients and amount of toppings. Bonus: For those of us who like Indian Food, the butter chicken is unreal (haven't tried the Tandoori chicken yet). There's all the traditional Pizza ingredients as well, so the Indian options are a bonus for those who feel like trying them.

What my family liked: Service is outstanding. The manager greets you with a big smile and is courteous and welcoming. He knows how to make clients feel appreciated. Not greasy, just good ingredients, the cheese on the pizza is high quality. Do you have small kids that only eat cheese pizza? I ordered the 3 cheese pizzas and added butter chicken to them. Couldn't believe when my 6 year old asked me for a second slice. He's the type that will only eat cheese pizza, and nothing else. The butter chicken is not spicy. It's well seasoned and delicious so your kids can safely have it. They have Pizzas without the tomato base if anyone is allergic. The Honey Garlic chicken pizza was to die for. Just incredible, the chicken was tender, the sauce was not overempowering and the right balance of garlic and sweetness. The Butter chicken is out of this world, really good like the one you could get at an indian à-la-carte restaurant. Chicken is tender and flavourful.

Chosen this place based on a friend’s recommendation, expecting great pizza, but it was a letdown. I raised a simple concern about the chicken pizza toppings, but the lady manager responded rudely (unprofessional and unethical), as if I was asking for food (lol). I brought it up respectfully, yet was met with defensiveness instead of basic courtesy. Feedback should be taken seriously, not brushed off. Disappointed overall.

I had originally chosen not to leave a public review. Instead, I came to the store and shared my concern directly, out of respect, because I understand the effort an owner ( as I do own a business & I know the hard-work behind) puts into building a business and maintaining a good reputation. I believed it was better to talk face-to-face rather than criticize publicly. But unfortunately, the response I received showed no willingness to listen or understand. When a customer makes the effort to speak privately, it should be seen as a sign of respect, not an opportunity to dismiss their concern.

Then I ordered two pizzas, one paneer and one chicken, with two toppings each (paneer(2) & chicken(2)). For one of them, we asked for paneer as a topping, but the quantity was noticeably low. When we pointed this out politely, the manager didn’t seem to care. Shockingly, she touched the paneer in the pizza made directly and tried to “prove” there were two paneer pieces per slice, which was not only unhygienic but also dismissive. Olive pit in pizza nearly broke tooth. Hair on pizza. Had to pay for alternate sugar free sauce at $2.50 and barely got any sauce on pizza. Their specialty is sesame seeds and the seeds were all stuck on one piece and the rest of the pizza was lacking! This is the 5th or 6th time we've been here and this experience was so bad for us we won't be going back. Only reason I am not giving it one star was the fact we enjoyed it enough that we were return customers but we won't be back and won't recommend it.

edit: contacted by manager to remove review in exchange for a free large pizza. Not interested in the bribe thanks. I was looking forward to this food and my meal was already ruined and it has made our evening less pleasant as a consequence.
