This place used to be good with greater staff and management. However, things became different and more wreckless with new management running the resturant. Majority of the managers enjoy treating their workers like pets, especially the most hard working employees. Whenever, there's a chore that needs to be taken care of, instead of asking a worker who's standing closer to the sector to take care of the mess as it's their responsibility, the managers hammer and target only the hard working members and force them to clean up the mess they shouldn't have to be responsible for. They first start by saying please to only show positive gesture and earn kindness from pity. However, if the hard worker has their hand full and don't bother to assigning someone else to take care of it who either doesn't have their hands full of other tasks or is closer to the area of the situation, managers leave no filter and go on yelling and bullying staff to get the job done or be threatened to lose their job. Also, management likes to be very passive and agressive by forcefully telling staff to upsell donation coupons at the drive thru and constantly ask every person driving if they would like to donate when it should be left only as an option to be asking and not be a forceful habit to a point where they're making staff work like machines. In regards to drive thru, management are also aggresive when telling staff to make cars wait at the pull when the times are very slow and the driver only made it to the window 5 seconds ago waiting for their food to be handed out, making customers mad for being told to park and wait outside in bad weather when they want the food to be ready and handed to their car from the drive thru window. In conclusion, it is better to not attend this branch as management is corrupt and selfish. They show no kindness or positivity to staff and customers as long as they like to treat themselves as royal leaders of the branch and pity everyone else's sake....
Read moreWe have gone through the drive-thru of our local McDonald's a number of times but never gone inside, so we decided to drop in for an evening coffee and ice cream. My wife wanted to order from a person (the human touch), but there wasn't anyone manning the counter so we used the automated kiosk. Things went fairly smoothly until we chose 'dine-in' and 'table service' (a true novelty at McDonald's). At this point the system prompted us to enter the 'marker number', but there were no 'markers' to be seen. With no one at the cash register to ask, and (almost) all the other employees busying themselves filling drive-thru orders, I had to search around until I found a stack of 'markers' by the registers. I duly entered the number, paid, and was informed we could sit anywhere. The tables in the immediate vicinity of the kiosks were all dirty, so we began what ended up being a fruitless search for a clean table. Of the 30+ tables in the restaurant, approximately six were in use, and all of the others were dirty. No one was working the lobby. I stood by the order counter trying to get someone's attention to have a table cleaned, but to no avail. Not surprisingly, the counter was filthy as well. We decided not to stay, so stood by the registers to wait for our food. Good thing we did, our 'table service' consisted of an employee shouting out our order number for pick up - who knows what would have happened if we had lucked into finding a table out of earshot from there. I would have taken pictures, but I would have been there another 15-20 mins capturing it all. If that's how the lobby is maintained, I don't want to know about the prep, cooking and serving areas. Single star for service & cleanliness; second star because they got our...
Read morethis is not the first issue i’ve had here god i wish’s it was but it’s mind blowing forsure. besides the fact im told i cant order certain things after 10pm at a 24 hour location, the fact you’re not even open 24 hours sometimes and weren’t ever 24 hours until maybe a year ago yet advertised and more, all of it is it crazy. now my issues here is to charge extra for a poutine then give me a portion that looks half eaten. I’d say it was a solid 8-10 bites before the poutine was gone. you can clearly see how empty the container is and as someone who frequently orders poutine it’s never this empty unless i come to this location. not sure if you’re skimping or just not training your employees to understand the right portion sizes. i’m also someone who has friends and family who work at mcdonald’s and they have confined this is not a regular portion. i also work in a restaurant and understand you don’t want to make too much and have it go to waste but to not give people what they’re paying for is just beyond ability to understand and my food wasn’t the only one skimped in this order either....
