Milano Pizzeria — Restaurant in Ottawa

Great pizza place, premium cost but best pizza in the city when you're wanting to pay for it. It's a staple at big get togethers but not for Wednesday night 'get pizza because nothing is in the fridge' because you can get much cheaper, but also significantly worse pizza pizza. Comparing the two, pizza pizza seems like cardboard in comparison and is obviously made with sub par ingredients, Milano's pizza will make your mouth water, great, fresh ingredients, full of flavor, nothing like the cardboard I mentioned, just a little pricey. I also noticed they were licensed last time I walked in for a slice (which like all pizza places is 2 pieces, you probably know the size and what I mean), speaking of which if you want to get a slice and drink while in the neighborhood, the price isn't prohibitive at around 6$, little less than 5$ for...

DISGUSTING FOOD! Salty gravy. Undercooked fries. A long piece of hair was wrapped in with my burger. I called to let them know I found a piece of hair in my food, not once did I ask for a refund or another order and the man on the phone very rudely responded saying he doesn't give free food. Huh? Tried the keto pizza. Pricier than I'd like, but what the hell. It arrived piping hot and the delivery guy was cheerful. Taste was excellent, cheese was just ok as I had ordered extra cheese but it sure looked like normal cheese. The crust held up well and was pleasantly crisp.

Three stars because the bottom was 85% charred black - and the resulting chew of the crust was almost gritty, I think because the crust was made with almond meal rather than fine almond flour, and the little skins calcified when the crust was overcooked.
