March 2023 A lovely place to go to which is in an old quaint home very close to Watson's Mill. Friendly staff, and good food. A daily lunch special, and breakfast is served all day on the weekends. Large scones, and muffins. Delicious homemade pies are a nice treat. Don't forget to try their signature (mile high) lemon meringue pie. You won't be disappointed! This pie needs to be ordered in advance for takeout. Tea is served in bone china teacups and tastes so much better this way than in a mug. Interesting pieces of antique furniture to view, and various things to peruse in the rooms of this house. Run mainly by volunteers who take pride in being a part of this gem in Manotick. Our last outing was for St.Patrick's Day. Broccoli soup, Irish Stew, and Irish Soda bread. So many special details made for today: the staff were wearing green, the menu board was written in green for the specials of the day, the rooms were decorated, and our soup was served in green bowls. There is an upcoming special on April 6, 2023 for Easter. Try it, and you may like it as much as my family did and continues to!

An iconic tea room/restaurant situated in the heart of Manotick. We have dined here multiple times over the years. Serving breakfast and lunch, the Miller's Oven is uniquely staffed by adult and teen volunteers (as hosts/hostesses, servers, and cashiers). The food is freshly prepared and the desserts are delicious. This is a spot that you don't want to miss.

Friendly people, wonderful "sky high" lemon meringue pie. Tea in beautiful old fashioned china cups with saucer, delicious food. Homey feeling and it's run by seniors who volunteer their time and some students whom they pay per day. We visit from Ottawa and do some shopping in the village afterwards. Love this place!

We call this the pie lady's house. They have the most enormous slices of lemon meringue pie that I have ever seen. No word of a lie they are 6 in tall. They have some delicious quiches sandwiches served in a very cozy atmosphere. It has become a tradition that the PD day prior to Halloween we take a group of kids go to the Old Mill in town stop at Miller's oven for lunch and then go out to Miller's Farm to get our pumpkins. It's hard to beat that on a...

Very quaint and delightful little café/tea salon. I went with a friend and my aunt for lunch on Saturday afternoon. We all had the ham and broccoli quiche and salad. The quiche was packed with ham and fresh broccoli. A fresh side salad for accompaniment made with crisp spring mix, radishes, shredded carrots, quartered tomato and sliced cucumber. Delectable food, friendly staff and adorable décor with a variety of tea cups. A...
