A new branch of Papa John's Pizza has recently opened at 680 Bronson Ave, Ottawa, ON K1S 4E9, and I must say, the team behind this location has made a positive first impression. Based on my experiences visiting both this location and their main branch at 375 St. Laurent Blvd, Ottawa, ON K1K 2Z7, it’s clear that Papa John's HR team has been diligent in hiring the right staff. At both locations, the front desk personnel were exceptionally welcoming, polite, and efficient, which speaks volumes about the company’s commitment to quality customer service. Kudos to the HR department for their excellent work in staffing these branches.
As a former restaurant inspector and a food enthusiast, I also have to commend the quality of the pizza at Papa John's. Their recipe may not be overly complex, but it delivers consistent, delicious, and satisfying results. The balance of flavors and the freshness of the ingredients create a pizza experience that’s hard to beat. While they stick to the fundamentals, they do it exceedingly well, ensuring that every bite is enjoyable.
I believe that with continued efforts to enhance both customer service and the quality of their ingredients, Papa John's can further elevate their offerings. With a focus on constant improvement, they are well-positioned to provide a high standard of food and service to the local community, building a lasting and...
Read moreThe other day, I received a promotional brochure, so I decided to order a small pizza with three toppings for $12.99 plus tax. However, when I placed the order, the woman on the phone told me my total was $21. I explained to her that I had a brochure with promotions, and the price should be $12.99. She asked for a promo code, but there wasn’t one, so I explained again about the brochure. She seemed confused and didn’t understand what I was talking about. Frustrated, I canceled the order and went to the store in person to place the same order. When I got there, I recognized the same woman from her voice. I was able to place the exact same order for $12.99. Even without a discount, a small pizza couldn't cost $21, as the regular price is $15 on their menu. I don't know why she tried to overcharge me, but it felt like they were trying to take advantage of me. I rated them one star because, although the pizza is good, their customer service is terrible. P.S. They have the exact same brochure I have between the cash register and the phone, so it’s absurd that she didn’t understand what I was...
Read moreThird time trying them, first time wasn't great, second time, the manager offered to remake my pizza and it was better, but third time was awful.
Same consistent issues all three times. Portion sizes are awful for what it is/price you pay. Toppings are scarce and sliced paper thin to the point you can barely taste or enjoy them. Sauce is weak/seems like they use as little as possible. Cleanliness could improve a lot. Frequently see staff going from the cash, straight to making pizza or something in between without washing hands.
Overall, not worth it. Dominos and other chains are very generous with their toppings at significantly better...
