Burrito Gringo Mexican Grill( Bronson) — Restaurant in Ottawa

Yesterday on the 6 of july 2017 @ 7pm to 8:30 pm: there was a woman worker that wasnt really professional with her behavior towards my wife and me. She didnt say hi she just told me "what can i get for you", while chewing on her gum with her mouth open (verry unprofessional) and with her "slick look regards". I ordered a large burrito on white flour tortilla. And then she asked "what would you like again?" 2 to 4 seconds after i gave her my order. Really?? Then came the gentlemen, "what would you like on your burrito?" I said "veggies, black beans and shredded chicken". Thats when he told me that "this is pork, not chicken. This is pork, shredded beef, cubed cut beef, and this is cubed cut chicken. What would you like? " "Just give me chicken" i said and then he said "are you sure" really???

Anyways, moving on the food. The veggies wasn't well checked. I was eating my burrito until i stumbled upon two onion stump. My burrito was too toasted that it felt like i was eating chips with stuffing inside. Not to mention the tortilla chips had an after taste. It tasted like they kept using the same chips for 2 or 3 days. My wife told the woman that (the worker that happens to be the one with her opened-mouthed-gum-shewing in a restaurent) the chips wasn't good, it had an after taste and so the woman told my wife that she will tell the others. Nothing happened for an 1h that we stayed after eating.

I go in that restaurent all the time since i live 5 minutes away from it by walking, and this is the only day she does that to us. Wich so happens that it is the day no bosses are arround.

Updated - Aug 2018. They have added spiced and grilled tofu for vegans/vegetarians. The tofu was just outstanding. I wish I could add more stars to this review.

Was around Little Italy on a day when just about everything around seemed closed as it was a day after New Years Day. Was starving from a long trip from home and had seen this restaurant so many times and thought of visiting it.

The staff were amazing and very accommodating. Made sure our needs were met and were so cheerful and easy to deal with.

Ordered a small veggie burrito, a small and a large veggie quesadilla and a burrito salad.

First the Quesadillas-the stuffing everything you want and tons of it packed. So much that one can't list to eat. Cheese and lots of it. The toppings all fresh except the three salsa's. They seemed not store made. All else seemed like it was made right there.

The burrito same. Filled to the brim and grilled perfectly. Didn't skimp on Guacamole.

The burrito salad was again amazing, toms of beans, rice, tomatoes, guacamole, salsa and all other fixings. Both the burrito and salad were made vegan and the lady put the toppings extra as there was no cheese or sour cream. Well made.

If they do the same on every visit the place is go for...

UPDATE Due to what seems to be new management I am less than happy to go to this location. Portions are still great but customer service had gone down hill!!! Went in today to order food and made a mistake in my burrito to which I own, I was hoping we could take off some of what was put in but mid sentence the attendant started to ask me if I wanted another condiment and proceeded to put it on without my response as I was mid sentence asking to take off the previous item. I then stopped and told her that I didnt really want that one but said I'd buy it anyways and make a new one.... the attendant then looked at me blankly and turned to her coworker and proceeded to whisper in front of us..... as if we did something wrong... I was SHOCKED. I dont think I will be back to this location... not until they fix their customer service. Very disappointed. Mong other things we have ordered this for delivery prior and the insides have been cold and they dont seem to be grilled at all anymore... LASTLY LOOK AT THE VEGGIES THAT I GOT IN MY BURRITO!!
