Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Ottawa

Wish I could give this location zero stars. The staff at the Orléans location needs further training in customer service. The manager Jonathan p. Was the rudest person I’ve had to deal with. Got denied service in an empty restaurant “incase they were about to get busy” we made a reservation for over 20 people he told us that we didn’t ... basically calling us liars because he doesn’t know how to check for reservations. They told us they were unprepared.. I guess no one there on Saturday knew how to make a pizza.. just to point out how rude this Jonathan “manager” guy is he was asking other paying customers who were not apart of our group if they were with us the two people said no were not Jonathan then says are you sure you’re not with them ? Those people ended up leaving because they weren’t being served. I just don’t understand how any business turns away paying customers.. blows my mind how incompetent the staff was especially the so called manager Jonathan. I think the staff wanted an easy night and didn’t want to make an extra 10 pizzas that night. The restaurant had no one in it 4pm on a Saturday afternoon the only person sitting in the dining room was a Pizza Hut employee!!! What a joke !!!! Don’t waste your time or money here. Updated March 2024 - beware of the total they punch in on the debit machine. I placed an ordered online to pay in store. The order was saying $20.33, the receipt had a second price, pre-coupon price of $24.55. when I went to pay, they said the total was $24.33, I asked again and the employee said $24.33, I confirmed the amount punched in on the debit machine was $24.33. I checked my email and said is it not $20.33? This is when the employee claimed it was a mistake and corrected the error. I've worked at multiple pizza places in my day and know this is a routine scam, at least by drivers. They use numbers already on the receipt that they can claim it was a mistake and they just misread it. To boot the debit machine does not have a no top option, only percentage and dollar amount. You'd have to manually select "no tip" by putting in 0. I'm all for tipping, like I said I've worked in food service but don't try to steal from me or force me to...

If you had to guess between the 3 slices on the left and the 2 slices on the right, which one was from a large pizza and which was a medium. An absolute scam... my goodness, why is the box it comes in so large 🤣🤣🤣. I understand, in this economic climate, everything's expensive... but if I'm paying extra for more... it'd be nice if there was more. edit: I realize it wasn't clear but the 3 slices on the left (that were larger) was the medium pizza and the slices on the right were the large (where you pay a ridiculous amount more). I don't see how this place will stay in business - literally every pizza place in Orleans is better in terms of value/quantity/quality. edit 2 - @owners response, bro if you were actually sorry, you'd issue me a full refund or at least 2-5 free large pizzas.
