Bergham - Orleans — Restaurant in Ottawa

I posted this review over 3 months ago and still no response from the owner ... not surprised!!!

This has got to be the worst restaurant to enjoy a meal. Clients are left alone to act up as though they were in a McDonalds playground. While having lunch, there were 8 teenagers who continously acted out, spoke loud, ran around the restaurant, some even running in and out of the restaurant, with no intervention from the two employees present. To be told later by these employee's that the owner does not allow his employee's to control its client's when they act out. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. You'd be best to drive a bit further and enjoy a better meal, in a quieter atmosphere at A&W, Harvey's, and even McDonalds for the same price range. I feel for these employee's as they are being 'gaged' by the owner to say and do nothing. This restaurant doesn't merit any stars. However, I'm forced to give at least one to allow me to post my comment. The owner has a lot of work to do, to ensure that his clients are controlled, so that his other client's can enjoy their meals. NEVER...

My wife and I love the food and indulge often I was happy walking in but tonight it really took a bad turn! This is the worst experience I've ever had in fast food for 13 years. The guys there are slow, they have no respect for customers and when after over 20 min I asked for a refund because I had to drive my wife to the hospital, one of them came out as aggressive as he could be to tell me, "when the food is on the grill there's no refund". Never was I asked if I was waiting for something or if something is missing. Which means it took them 20 minutes to start our order.This is ridiculous. Over half an hour for a sandwich and a poutine at 5 pm right in the middle of dinner time. At least give us the information that there is a long wait time it is a minimum stamdard for customer service. It was a take out, no napkin in the bag and not even a fork to eat the poutine. You'd think there would be a small complimentarry item on the house. But no! Zero consideration for the customer. I do work in customer service and one thing I know is no customer, no money. Seriously we are not...

First issue with this place, the cheeseburger meal is $15, that's a premium price that's even higher than a combo at any of the burger chains. That's just the first issue, the second issue is that price point does not justify the quality of the burger in any way shape of form. I ordered the cheeseburger meal and received a soggy small cheeseburger that's equivalent to the junior cheeseburger at McDonald's, furthermore, the fries were cold and limp, tasteless fries that I couldn't even finish. I got immediately sick and so did my wife who threw up, I would rate the food a 0 out of 10 and may contact the food qaulity control to investigate further.. Never buying there again. Word of advice, if you're going to charge premium prices then have the decency to provide quality food. Meal was thrown into the garbage...
