Red Swan Pizza - Ottawa Orleans — Restaurant in Ottawa

I am addicted to Red Swan Pizza, lol. My first experience with this chain was at the recommendation of a friend and at the Gloucester location on Montreal Rd because this Orleans location was closed for a bit at the beginning of April 2022, but they've reopened now! And they are awesome! They make the best Indian-fusion pizza I've ever had in my life! I got the pickup special: XL pizza 2 toppings for $12.95. Even though I'm new to Red Swan Pizza, I already have my favourite combination (which I tried originally at the Gloucester location): butter sauce, half butter chicken and spinach, half tandoori chicken and red peppers. This combo is so delicious! I can't rave about it enough. If you like Indian-fusion pizza, you need to try this combo here. The chicken is lean, tender and flavourful, and they do not skimp on the toppings. This location makes their pizzas a bit less well done than the Gloucester location, which I prefer, but honestly, both locations are fantastic. Note that their claim to fame is their sesame seeded crust. I ask them to hold the sesame seeds though, and it's no problem at all. Service is friendly and efficient. I’ve been ordering from this location regularly for the past three months, and while I’ve ignored several issues hoping things would improve, I’ve reached the end of my patience.

I usually order the Paneer Tikka personal size pizza. Tonight, my friend placed the order for me via Uber pickup. When I went to pick it up, they handed me the wrong size. I was in a hurry and didn’t say anything at the time, but when I opened the box later, I was very disappointed. The pizza looked like it had been sitting out for a long time—it was thin crust (which I never order), completely dry, and didn’t taste fresh at all.

This isn’t the first bad experience either. Previously, one of the staff gave me two dips to cover up the fact that the pizza was burnt. When I told him I only ordered one, he just brushed it off and said, “It’s fine.”

On top of all this, they often close before their listed hours. I’ve placed pickup orders through their site several times, only to arrive and find the store closed. No call, no notice—just closed.

As a regular customer, I expected better. This kind of service and inconsistency is unacceptable. I hope this feedback is taken seriously because loyal customers deserve quality food and...

I NEED NEGATIVE 100 STARS OPTION FOR THIS RESTAURANT. I LIKE RED SWAN PIZZA BUT HAD VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS LOCATION.

I have experienced very poor service many times. A month ago, when I ordered two pizzas, in one pizza they added onion instead of spinach and forgot to add green olives. When I called and explained, a discount was promised as an apology. Yesterday I ordered 3 pizzas and reminded them of their discount commitment. It took them 1 hour to prepare the order. This is really too much. After this, the guy was taking more time to calculate the discount at the time of payment. I had to go to my relative's house with pizza and it was getting late, so I told him that it was too late and if it was taking more time, I was ready to pay the full amount. After this he shamelessly collected the entire amount from me even after their commitment. When I ordered, I was clearly told to add garlic but not ginger. Still, they made a mistake. They put ginger in place of garlic on all the pizzas. We realized this when we ate that pizza at our relative's house. A relative of mine is sensitive to ginger. Luckily, she didn't suffer any...
