I have been a Reynolds client for a long time. Today, I found a long black hair in my food (I have white hair). I pointed it out to the waitress, she said "drop it on the floor" and stomped off. The most amazingly bad behaviour was at the cash. I happily waited in line while she served 5 or 6 people. Just as the last one finishes and is leaving, a guy walks in from the street and steps in front of me. I moved around him, but rather than serve me, she reached by me and asked him the usual question, cash or credit card. He was paying just like me. When I asked her why she was serving him when I had been waiting in line while he had just walked in the door. She continued to ignore me. Finally I said the same thing again a bit louder so she could hear me. She yells at me to "STOP YELLING", which I was not. She continues, " YOU SHOULD BE MORE PATIENT", slams the payment machine down and shouts "TAP, THEN GET OUT!!!" To add insult to injury, she apologizes to the guy who cut in front of me in the loudest voice possible, for my terrible behaviour, not hers. I am stunned that a polite request caused this explosion. I am 56 and have never been spoken to/yelled at or treated like this by anyone in any service industry, ever. I live in the area, and have been going there along with my business associates for over 10 years - never again.
The pubic health people also need to be notified about the hair. She did not have...
Read moreYour restaurant has been highly recommended. Since I was home today I thought I’d give it a try. I ordered a hamburger platter with the burger cut in half, an upgrade to poutine and a salad for delivery. My order arrived in a timely manner...a few minutes past 1 pm. Your coleslaw was delicious...it’s a pity it was such a tiny container...maybe 2 fork fulls. I was extremely disappointed. Not only wasn’t the burger cut, but the poutine was missing (it contained regular fries with no ketchup or vinegar to make the fries edible). I called your restaurant as soon as I opened the container and discovered the poutine was missing. I was told I could either have a $3 credit for next time, or they could make a poutine and send it, but it could take several hours. Three hours later I called to find out how much longer it would be. The person who answered claimed that it was sent out hours ago, at 1 pm (before my order had even been delivered)...she claimed he went to Bells Corners and I didn’t answer the door. I don’t live in Bells Corners...nobody came to my door or telephoned. I have been here waiting all afternoon. $25.82 (plus tip) was a complete waste of money for what I received. The woman who answered told me to call back tomorrow morning...she acted like she didn’t care...that is extremely poor...
Read moreToday, I had a rather unpleasant occurrence with Reynolds. restaurant delivery. When I went to the company’s website, there was an email address that I thought I’d send a message about my dissatisfaction. The email address is invalid. The following was the email I attempted to send. I had included my address in the message, which I’ve removed.
Hi, I called to order delivery of a meal today, and when I gave my address, xxxx, I was told that deliveries were not made here. Since I’ve ordered meals frequently from Reynolds, and had it delivered here, this is nonsense. Last time I ordered, however, the hamburgers were raw. I called Reynolds again, and they agreed to give me a credit for the price of the meal, a hamburger and a hamburger platter. Perhaps the only reason delivery is refused this time is because Reynolds owes me money. When the person who took the call refused to deliver here, I asked to speak to the manager who was not there, and it was apparently unknown when he would be in.
I’ve enjoyed the food and service from Reynolds, and I’m extremely disappointed with these events.
I will try to order once more. If I do not get satisfaction, I can guarantee I won’t be the only one to be unhappy with, and boycott, your restaurant.
Sincerely, an unhappy customer
I’ll try another day, but I’m not...
