We decided to give Signatures a second chance after last year's Valentines day customer service flop. We went back again this year on the 15th. First off the food was incredible. Although a very similar menu from last year. We didn't mind since the food is out of this world, spectacular! Words cannot describe how amazing the food tasted.

I fault Signatures once again on the service. When you pay almost $300 for your night out, you expect the service that goes along with it! Throughout our first few courses the dining room was quiet and there were only 3-4 tables. Service was great. As it should be when there are several servers for only a handful of tables. As the evening progressed though the service became terrible. Our main course dishes were not cleared for 35 minutes. The table next to us had come after us, finished their main course after us, had their table cleared, dessert delivered, drinks replenished, bill delivered and paid, then the servers flipped the table and reset it, following that another couple sat down. All before our dessert course was served. We waited and stared in awe. After dessert we waited another 20 minutes before the bill was brought to our table.

This is exactly what happened the year before except we got tired of waiting for the bill, got up and we went to ask a manager if he would like to take our money before we left.

This was exceptionally difficult get past after we sent in our review after the meal, voiced our concerns and they went unanswered. Hence why this review is posted 5 days later. We wanted to A. cool off before writing a heated review and B. Offer the restaurant an opportunity to explain.

This is arguably the best tasting food in the city but sadly we will not be back to enjoy it as the service is far...

The warm and pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant, white tablecloths and lounge music in the background matches the fine dining category. The staff are amazing , doing their best to serve you from the moment you arrive until the very end. The food is of high quality ingredients and served in a well designed form as expected. Besides the fact that my steak was made well done instead of medium well as requested, and the Fuagra was not exactly Fuagra (My fault, I saw that the price was way too cheap for a real Fuagra and didn’t verify). I really liked the fact that they gave us a table in a small private room, cause I told them that we will have 2 noisy kids with us. I would only suggest to heat the room, cause our feet were frozen by the end of the diner. A small cone: Either the prices are a bit too high, either the portions are a bit too small. (Comparing with other restaurants I visited in the same category) Understand that we are talking about fine dining, but I personally left a bit hungry.

Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend to visit this restaurant at least once for their high quality service and atmosphere. I would give them 4.5 stars, so between the 4 and 5 possible gave them 5 for...

This is an incredibly desirable destination. I have visited Le Cordon Bleu during both lunch and dinner times before the pandemic, and currently, they provide a list of events during dining hours. The restaurant is conveniently located not far from downtown, with a beautiful park beside it and parking on the side that features multiple embassies. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the service is excellent. The place is consistently clean and classically beautiful. The quality of the cuisine is remarkable, offering food that is not only extremely good but also unique. The portion sizes and presentation are well thought out, initially appearing average or slightly smaller, but this is a clever strategy that enhances the overall dining experience, providing unforgettable and memorable tastes. While the lunch menu may seem somewhat limited at first glance, it is regularly updated, guaranteeing better quality. The prices are more than reasonable, offering a comfortable dining experience for a restaurant with 12 Michelin stars, shared among five chefs. I highly recommend visiting this place for an exclusive experience that will be hard to forget. Your personal experience will undoubtedly...

Like other restaurants that are the teaching and testing grounds for culinary schools, Signature's attention to detail falters in the descriptiveness of its menu. A well-crafted description of a dish accomplishes two things: it entices the diner into selecting the item through a poetic exposition of its ingredients and their preparation , and, it warns the diner of ingredients and preparation which would contravene their preferences or restrictions. When I attend a lunch with a limited menu, having relied on the published menu to determine whether or not I can actually eat the fare on hand, then learn from the chef via the server that there are unspecified ingredients that prevent me from ordering the dish(es)... I am bound to be disappointed. The substitute vegetarian dish is no substitute for the reason I came to the restaurant that day. A description need not be recipe-level specific, but if there are unspecified ingredients which would concern people with common allergies or religious restrictions, please include them.

I've known of this Cordon Blue teaching restaurant for a while and recently tried it for a Mother's day dinner. Highlights; the Foie Gras was the finest I've even had. The beef tenderloin and deer loin were choice and their Fundy scallops really went well with the suggested white wine. I had the 5-course meal (seasonal) which I highly recommend if you'd like to sample their menu. At $95, I considered it a bargain. I also went with the wine sampling they offer with the 'Gastronomique menu'. While the wines (4x 3oz glasses... sparkling wine, Ontario white, Ontario red, Italian red) certainly highlighted the flavours of the plates they accompanied, at $65 I would have expected some finer European wines. The staff were great and took obvious pride in the food served. We sat outside and enjoyed a bug-free June evening.
