(2025)To be honest i have been coming here since last year and i left a good review on the top about last year but i don't think i will visit again here cause there is no justice in this restaurant, this restaurant is owned by muslims and im a muslim too,what really happened today was really disappointing seeing the other customers filled to the top because they were arabs, im a muslim and i dont discriminate between arab or non arab cause we are all muslims at the end but what i saw infront of my eyes was disappointing cause i was served very little and for the first time i left hungry at this place and i know the portion of the platter very well how usually its served ,when i requested to be filled as standard as usual they denied and i ate my food without any words and l left with a hungry stomach for the first time wlahh , i guess this is not fair cause usually i don't beg to the restaurant to fill up more for me im not like others and it was not my first time here to visit and it was really heartbreaking to see this others paying the same amount as i do and them getting filled up more meat, i greeted salam waleikum but didn't care to reply me back but when the other arab brother behind me greeted he was replied with utmost care, im not here to insult the business of my brothers in islam but for the sake of Allah i have never seen injustice like this ,it wont make a difference for the restaurant to loose 1 customer but i hope no one should go through this next...

I recently ordered from Shawarma Palace on Rideau Street, and I must say, it was a huge disappointment. I ordered a chicken wrap and a plate with garlic potatoes, but they completely messed up my order by giving me someone else’s beef wrap. To make things worse, they forgot to include the garlic potatoes that I specifically asked for.

I also ordered a chicken plate with all the fixings, including garlic sauce and hummus. To my disbelief, they left out the garlic sauce, which is practically the heart and soul of any good shawarma plate. How does a shawarma place forget the garlic sauce? It’s beyond frustrating and shows a lack of attention to detail.

What made the experience even worse was the attitude of the staff. The whole team seemed more interested in laughing and making jokes in their language than actually paying attention to the customers. It felt like they didn’t care at all about the fact that I was paying good money for this food.

The lack of professionalism and care in both the food and service was extremely disappointing. Shawarma Palace, you really need to step up your game and start treating your customers with the respect they deserve. We’re not paying for your jokes and incompetence; we’re paying for good food and good service, which clearly wasn’t delivered.

Definitely won’t be returning...

Shawarma Palace has been my reliable go-to for a delicious shawarma fix for quite some time now. However, my recent visit with my family left me feeling quite disappointed. While the service remained excellent and the ambiance received a much-needed makeover, the decline in the quality of their food was starkly noticeable.

The first letdown was the tasteless beef and dry chicken in the shawarmas we ordered. It was evident that the once flavorful and succulent meat had lost its charm. Even the tabouleh, a staple side, lacked freshness, further adding to the disappointment.

It's disheartening to witness such a decline in the quality of food at Shawarma Palace, especially considering its previous reputation for serving delicious shawarmas. Despite the friendly service and the aesthetically pleasing makeover, it's challenging to overlook the lacklustre culinary experience.

While I would gladly commend Shawarma Palace for its top-notch service, the food quality leaves much to be desired. Considering these factors, I'm hesitant to rate them any higher than 2 stars for their food quality, though their service warrants a solid 5 stars.
