This Starbucks has quickly become one of my favorite spots in the city. Whether I’m looking for a cozy place to work, catch up with friends, or simply relax with a good drink, this location never disappoints.
Let’s start with the atmosphere. The interior is modern yet warm and inviting. The lighting is soft, the seating is comfortable, and there’s a good amount of space between tables so it never feels too crowded. I especially love the window seats — perfect for sipping coffee while people-watching or just taking a break from a busy day.
The service here is consistently excellent. The staff are always friendly, patient, and professional. They greet you with a smile, and even during busy hours, they handle orders efficiently and kindly. One time I had a rather complicated custom order (soy milk, no ice, sugar-free, with a substitution), and not only did they get everything right, the barista even suggested adding a touch of cinnamon to enhance the flavor — and it turned out great!
The drinks are, of course, up to the Starbucks standard — consistent, delicious, and made just the way I like them. The seasonal options are always fun to try, and I appreciate how they’re open to modifications based on personal preferences. I also love the fact that mobile ordering is quick and easy here, and my drinks are always ready on time.
Overall, this Starbucks offers more than just coffee — it’s a reliable and welcoming space with great vibes, great people, and great service. Highly...
Read moreI figured that since I visit this location often I would toss my opinion into the fray.
First: TL;DR: Used to hate Starbucks; developed a taste for it, like the staff and the staff seem to like me back.
It is a Starbucks so if you're looking for inexpensive, look elsewhere. I used to despise everything about Starbucks but I started visiting this location as I was getting sick of the Van Houtte at work (Metro across the parking lot); and it's the only game in town that's in walking distance. I should point out that since the renovations, we do have Starbucks brand coffee from the Deli.
I learned a taste for the place and realized that I actually enjoy the coffee; granted I tend towards the same thing everything every time. But what can I say, I'm a simple guy.
Over the past several years, I have managed to develop a light report with the staff and they all are very friendly to me and courteous to my needs as a customer. Does this come from a long developed familiarization? Perhaps. I should add that there are a few barristas who will have my drink ready for me by the time I reach the counter to pay. In fact, in recent months, I've not actually had to place my order at all. THAT's what I call customer service.
I've never been disrespected and I've always found the location to be clean and efficient with service. Seating is not an issue for me as I am typically stopping in to grab a drink on my way to...
Read moreHorrible manager with a grotesquely blasé attitude towards her own mistakes. I ordered through Uber eats and was missing an $8 drink. Uber only refunded $5. When I called the store the manager told me it was Ubers fault. I asked her if Uber put the drinks in the bag she replied and I quote “nope!”. I then proceeded to ask her if my drink was still there then, since it wasn’t with me, to which she again replied with a simple “nope!” I asked what we could do about this and she said “contact Uber. I can’t even see past orders” she needed to be reminded that it was the stores fault for not making the drink to which she FINALLY apologized with the most sarcastic apology I’ve heard since leaving a man with a personality disorder. I asked to speak to the manager, she said she was the manager. When I asked if there was anyone else I could speak to she said no and that she was the manager. I then had to ask if it was privately owned and she finally gave me a name of the store operator, Brian. So I’ll be calling Brian next week when he’s in and I’ll be sure to tell ALL of my clients and friends of this atrocious attitude. A missing drink I can get over, the complete disrespectful, unapologetic, and condescending attitude of a person “in power” is abysmal. For someone who made a mistake.. that’s a whole lot of righteous...
