Not able to communicate in English. Drive thru wait easily 10 plus minutes, at window not even eye contact and no words only sneer. I understand receiving a poor review is upsetting however it isn't written without considerations. I travel Canada wide and this location is appalling. It begins with the layout of property, incredibly dangerous as the drive thru is in the right of way for the shopping plaza, hasnt any clear main travel routes and basically dumps you in the middle of chaos. This has been the location utilized for past 3 years, sadly, the only consistent experience has been poor, not nice service, intolerable wait times and nothing happy. I have zero interest in contacting a care team for Tims, I just avoid the entire franchise like a disease! I switched to McDonald's and the coffee and service have brought happiness back to the quest for coffee. It would definitely assist the Tim's business if employees on speaker/customer interactions were able to speak and comprehend English and had 'sone' knowledge about Canadian culture, (nothing racist) just believe that our countries culture must be considered and understood, although it seems apparent, only $ matters to business, with no thought of the offense caused by blatant disrespect due to ignorance of the way Canadians exist. And, how no matter where one comes from how a pleasant attitude, genuine smile and ability to engage, understand and respond to the majority of the customers, the business earns its income. It might have been a better review if just ONCE over past few years one experience had a wisp of merit, but, it seems status quo, with no interest in becoming a valued part of daily life for its customers.
It is what it is..... I can only use my pittance of buying power to influence my offense and dismay, realizing I am not even a blip on map, and my coffee $ won't impact the bottom line, however, it is not an automatic fee to take for granted, business is still required to try. Also, side note as a night shift worker closing stores at night is not conducive to receiving business, it comes across as we aren't wanted or needed. The whole franchise used covid as a pathetic excuse to close at night, but 4 years since pandemic clearly Tims doesn't want the business, it's rather unhinged, but the message is loud and clear! Take...
Read moreI am writing to express my ongoing concern about the persistent garbage issue at the Trinity Common College Plaza on Strandherd. Despite having raised this issue four months ago, the situation remains unchanged. Once again, I’ve observed garbage, particularly from Tim Hortons, piling up outside. This lack of cleanliness not only creates an unpleasant view for customers but also reflects poorly on the overall management of the plaza. Maintaining a clean and inviting environment is essential for both shoppers and businesses. Can someone explain to me why it is always Tim Hortons that seems to have garbage piling up outside? Attached are photos taken today, December 31, 2024, to illustrate the issue. I urge the plaza management and local by-law enforcement to address this matter promptly and implement a sustainable solution to ensure the plaza remains clean and welcoming
My comment below was writing four months ago
I'm really disappointed with the cleanliness of this Tim Hortons location. While all the other businesses in the Costco plaza on Strandherd Drive manage to keep their garbage properly contained, this Tim Hortons consistently has garbage piling up outside. Walking on the sidewalk, you can smell the garbage, and it's attracting mice and rats to the nearby residential areas and businesses. It's frustrating to see over 30 black bags of garbage piled up outside, and it's not just an eyesore—it's a serious hygiene issue.
Where is the city or the bylaw enforcement in all this? How is the plaza management allowing such a mess to accumulate? The surrounding businesses and residents are doing their part to maintain cleanliness, but this situation is dragging down the entire neighborhood. Cleanliness is crucial for the well-being of our community. If this problem persists, next time I will take photos and post them publicly. I'm sure others are noticing this garbage as well. Please take immediate action to address this issue and improve your waste...
Read moreI would give 0 stars if it was an option. Poorly trained staff. They are notorious for taking your money and not giving the product and then putting up a stink about it if you complain. Today my partner orders a croissant breakfast sandwich. Easy enough right? Wrong. They took his money and walked away then eventually came back and said they don't have any croissant (this should have been confirmed before taking payment) and offered a donut instead. As if a $1 donut some how compares to a breakfast sandwich?
They always get our drinks wrong at the drive through and when we go inside to ask for it to be fixed. They point the finger and the customer and claim that we ordered wrong. I find it funny that every other location in the city always has our order right but this one seems to think we just don't know our own orders?
I complained a few years ago and had the owner Simon called me after they I had had enough of them charging for vanilla flavour shots but never actually putting them in my coffee. The only compensation I was offered was one single free coffee after losing over $30.
They will never compensate you for their mistakes so to avoid the mistreatment, mistakes, and having our money stolen from us we will now be going out of our way to any other location except this one.
Before the owner comments to tell me to contact the customer care team I just want to say no. Stop using them as your scape goat, get in to your store everyday and make the changes that are needed. Be a real business owner, put your hands on the product, talk to your staff and put in the back breaking work. Sitting behind a desk telling them what to do will not save your business nor does it set the example for your staff.
This location is well known in the community for progressively worse and worse service over the last 5-6 years so clearly whatever you are doing to "fix" this isnt working. Time to get your hands dirty and actually fix things or you can kiss you...
