Wolf Down — Restaurant in Ottawa

Updating my previous 3-star review to 5-stars after they knocked it out of the park on my second visit. I had the chicken sandwich which was soooo delicious and quite filling. The staff were also very kind and welcomed us with smiles, and took great care in fulfilling our orders (group of 4). Only hiccup was that by the time we went for supper, 7pm ish, they had run out of tofu. Still, I would definitely come back and highly recommend an in-person visit here.

Old review: Order from Uber Eats so I can't speak to the service or atmosphere at the Kanata location, but I was surprisingly and unfortunately pretty disappointed by the food compared to my experience at the Bank St location. We ordered the chicken and beef sandwiches and neither were wow as the meats lacked flavour and the whole thing was generally bland, even with the special and spicy sauce in it. My sister also had the tofu version, which she said was overcooked and stale. Maybe it's just cause this is a new location and they haven't quite nailed the process yet, so I will give it another try in a couple of weeks, hoping for better results! I really want...

I had the pleasure of dining at Wolfdown in Kanata, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience!

The food was absolutely delicious—both the bowl and the doner sandwich were packed with flavor and freshness, and the beef doner was delicious.... What really stood out was the outstanding service, and the speed at which the food was served was impressive! I didn’t have to wait for more than 3 minutes at all for my meal. Highly recommend this place for anyone in the area—definitely a must-try! Whether you are in a hurry or hangry, check out Wolfdown; these guys surpass all fast food chains in terms of fast delivery and deliciousness.

BTW, I'm from Montreal and wish we had Wolfdown in...

I'm a big german doner fan. I have tried the german doner kebab place on Elgin St and was impressed. Was excited to get a doner place in our neighbourhood and tried it today. Unfortunetly I was not impressed with the beef sandwiches I ordered here. Seemed alot smaller than the one I had downtown and very skimpy on the meat...also lacked sauce. Just not the value I was expecting. Will try them again in case this was an anomoly...but if things don't improve for next time l'll have to look elsewhere for my doner fix...luckily Ottawa has some other choices and also many Shawarma places that offer...
