If you're visiting Parksville, do not miss this place. The subs are some of the best banh mi ive ever eaten. everything is freshly prepared to your specific liking. the patio out front is nice, especially if youre just stopping by for a quick bubble tea, all of which are delicious but i prefer the avocado one. the bubble tea here is easily the best in parksville. The staff are all super nice and friendly but usually very busy so please treat the front and back end staff with respect and youll be super happy with whatever you decide to eat. the satay with meatballs and beef slices is particularly awesome and i can eat it anyday even when it hits above 30c. while hot soup on a hot day may not be your style; there is something here everyone can enjoy. please be nice and order up front before you sit down. limited seating is available inside if you dont like to sit outside. plenty of parking along the front and is a short walk from the beach area. this place has another location in Nanaimo on Bowen road, but if youre not from here, that really wont mean anything. the family that runs these stores strive to exceed custome rexpectations and they succeed in every way. kudos to them and you'll be happy...

We came with our extended family from Vancouver (a group of 16) hoping to enjoy some Asian food together. I had called ahead to ask about reservations, and they told me it was first come, first serve. That sounded fine, so we all went.
When we arrived at 6pm, I explained that we had 16 people and that we were happy to sit separately and wait for tables. The hostess’s response was: “Nope, we can’t take 16.” I clarified that we were fine waiting, and she repeated that they “don’t have seats for 16.” She even started counting out loud, saying maybe they could take “1, 2, 3, 4… maybe 10.”
When I turned to discuss with my sister, the hostess abruptly added: “If you’re not ordering, please go outside to wait.”
If they cannot accommodate large groups, they should have been upfront about it when we first called. Instead, we brought along seniors and young kids only to be turned away after making the trip—a complete waste of time.
We never got to try the food, but based on this experience, I would strongly caution against going here with any group larger than 6. The restaurant only has small tables, and their staff clearly has no interest in being...
Read moreI came in this evening with my daughter, placed an order and a tea and sat down. 20 minutes later a lady with short hair came up to me and asked if I had been helped. I said yes I placed an order quite a while ago. She proceeded to tell me “oh I know why your order wasn’t made, it didn’t go through”. I tried my card again, didn’t work. Used same card tried a 3rd time after I told her I probably need to insert the card. It worked.
Ok so she tells me that it will probably be another 15 minutes, I couldn’t wait that long. She did not apologize, did not try to correct anything. Then rudely asked me to pay for my tea!!! I didn’t even drink the tea. I paid for my bill and left.
She smugly watched through the window smiling at me as I was driving away. Absolutely WORST customer service I’ve ever seen. I will...
