Subway — Restaurant in Parry Sound

The Subway located in the Parry Sound Mall and the Subway located right off Highway 93 are two locations I have frequented recently and quite regularly as of late. Both had great service and were extremely clean. The sub ingredients were well kept, definitely fresh and the subs themselves tasted great! I stopped eating at Subway several years ago because it just wasn't good anymore. I don't know if they overhauled the franchise as a whole or if they just targeted individual locations but whatever they did it worked. I no longer like greasy fast food and it's nice to have a fast food alternative that tastes great and doesn't tie your stomach in knots. I give these two Subway hotspots TWO...

The owner Sanjay is amazing; so hard-working and always accommodating. You can really see the effort he puts into his business. At times, the staff have issues with English as a second language and at times are curt and cranky, but you're going to get that at almost any hospitality based business. Always clean, always smelling of fresh baked bread - a small slice of comfort. The new touch screen beverage machine (with the ability to add specialized flavours to your drink) is super fun and a welcomed addition to the Subway franchise. the only reason I gave them the 1 star is as I stood in line they made 6 different subs with the same pair of gloves. It takes seconds to change them and this isnt the first time this has happened. not sure if they are afraid of wasting the gloves but come on they are the cheap big fingered plastic gloves. When I asked the employee did it right away no questions or attitude. If I was allergic to anything it wouldve made me sick and I lnow there is always a chance of crosscontanimation in these restaurants but practice good hygiene and food...
