Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Parry Sound

Coming from kitchener going to sudbury we decided to try Dairy Queen in Parry Soundfor lunch and bring home supper. We were Rushed to read menu which is very hard to see at the angle its positioned and order. We had a hard time understanding and hearing the order person Under pressure we quickly picked 2 hamburger meals, asked for salt and ketchup , ordered 3 chicken burgers. We paid Close to 50$!! CRAZY ! I would have gotten pizza or a Steak Paid for order at 1st window, informed at 2nd window that ""I'm sorry but" "chicken wasn't ready, would be in 3min ,could you please pull over to the side and I will bring it out to you" Sure,why not? What's another notch? COULD YOU PLEASE PUT SOME SALT AND KETCHUP IN THE BAG? "Oh,Sure As we try to pull around to park, curb is in the way , it's to close to building for vehicles to make a turn and not marked.we we "had to" drive over the curb ,low and behold a car parked , we had to back up to make it around the car. NOW! Back to the chicken burger 🍔 It was a long ..... 3min 15min later .... As we're driving up the hiway to Sudbury, I'm wanting a "fry" fry,KETCHUP and SALT ( in that order) GUESS WHAT ! grrrrrrr no KETCHUP, no SALT Poor...

The food has been alright at best but very inconsistent. The food is not a complete write off for me but can be poor at times. In the winter at the time of writing this review, the parking lot can house 4 cars at most and you are required to drive over the drive thru curb to get around the building. I have learned to only order items using simple words as the staff's first language is not english and is very frustrating when your order comes out wrong. A select few staff members are fine with understanding you and you understanding them but most of the time when ordering they either aren't friendly, don't say anything, speak quietly or look at you like you have 2 heads because they don't understand what you're saying. Facility is poor in terms of cleanliness, especially in the washroom (I'd advise not using it at all). Lower your expectations prior to entering the building or driving up to the speaker and...

Tried to get sauced and tossed chicken strips (should be called Nuggets they're so small) in Parry Sound they said they don't have the sauces, while it was on the menu, I was like "okay", she asked if I wanted a plum sauce, I said "sure, give me a couple bbq too please", she said okay.... so I grab my food go sit down with the family and half the tables had a sign saying "DO NOT USE", so we sat at another booth which felt like it was gonna tip over and red pop stains all over 🤣 ...so I grab my chicken strip box, she put a mini cup of flamethrower, no plum, no bbq... I go up and grabbed a gravy cause I forgot.... tried to eat but all the food tasted off to my whole family, so we just wrapped it up to go.... my son got his sundae, got half way through and it was all curdled and chunky, he said he felt sick right away.... worst dq experience we've ever had.... Midland, Ontario is crazy...
