Terrible customer service experience. Took my two year old in there for ice cream after she noticed the huge sandwich board outside on the sidewalk advertising it. Stood by the cash register for almost 10 minutes with multiple servers walking back and forth by us before we were finally even acknowledged or helped, only to be told they were too busy to serve us ice cream. They still had tables available and said they would do a takeout order, so I asked what the difference was whether I sat and ordered a sushi roll or an ice cream cone to go as they would still have to take the time to serve us? I would have totally understood if they said they were closed for the night and not taking any more orders at all, but this didn’t make any sense. This server, (who is apparently the manager since I asked to speak to one and wouldn’t let me speak with the owner who was apparently his dad) was more than happy to argue with me about it for longer than the 30 seconds it would have taken to scoop the ice cream he was standing right in front of and make a 2 year old little girl happy. I said they should remove their signage from outside if they weren’t serving ice cream to avoid disappointing other little children as they walked by and he refused and said that he was too busy to remove it! Why even have ice cream if you’re going to refuse to serve it on a weekend summer evening in a resort town, makes absolutely zero sense. Yes, their sushi is delicious - we have come here quite a bit and try to support local as much as possible. But terrible customer service like I experienced today makes it difficult to want to keep continuing to do that. It’s great that you’re so busy with tourists…. but let’s treat the customers that try to support you the other 10 months of the year with a little...

Holly goes above and beyond. She salvaged what started as rough service when her co-worker essentially abandoned us as the kitchen was nearing close (We got there about 50 minutes before closing).

We had been waiting over 15 minutes to have our drink order taken when Holly saw that we'd been left to wait. She took over and did wonderfully. Even asked questions to make sure we were following our own dietary restrictions, and was able to keep a light, humourous mood, despite clearly being a bit frustrated.

I've often had a bad experience with service at this restaurant, but the atmosphere and food are so good, and I love to support local.

Hopefully management is aware of the staff on board who care about their customers having a good experience, as well as those who are missing the mark. My partner and I are usually crossing our fingers that we get one server over another every time we visit (after quickly scoping who's on shift), and were honestly a little relieved to be abandoned by a server who has routinely soured our...

Katsu is essentially a cutlet, much like schnitzel — and I say this with confidence as a chef with 25 years of experience working with multicultural teams. I know this dish well. However, what I had here was shockingly disappointing. The dryness of the chicken katsu suggested that pre-cooked chicken had been breaded with panko and then fried. As for the pork katsu, it tasted like frozen pork that had been thawed in a microwave before frying — the unpleasant odor of pork lingered strongly in the dish. The dryness, the poultry scent, and the unpleasant pork smell were all unmistakable — and unfortunately, they came through clearly in the dish. Regardless of the cooking method, serving food made from ingredients that are clearly not fresh shows a serious disregard for basic standards.

You’d get far better value by simply walking next door to Gasthaus and trying their Jägerschnitzel or pork...

To be honest, I wasn’t sure about going to a sushi joint in Peachland since we are spoiled with amazing sushi options in the Lower Mainland. However, we were referred to this place after a tasting at Hainle Winery so we decided to give it a try since it was a bit gloomy out and my friends felt it was perfect ramen weather. They ordered the different variations of ramen: Shoyu, shio and tonkatsu. I ordered the lunch set because I wanted a bit of everything. While it’s not the best ramen or sushi I’ve ever tasted, it certainly will do the job if you’re craving some sushi or ramen in the area. Prices are decent and there’s lots of seating inside.

I didn’t know I was a sushi fan until I went here! In the past year, I have traveled to the Kelowna area from Winnipeg on a few occasions. Stopping in here for some amazing sushi is a must each time! I have had the opportunity to eat here on 5 seperate occasions, and I can say each time has been a tremendous delight! Super kind and friendly staff, absolutely delicious food, and a beautiful scenic view outside on the patio, as well as inside! I would highly recommend the Chicken Karaage, Sunomono, Tempura and especially Popcorn Shrimp Roll to anyone who visits here! A must try for anyone visiting Peachland! :D

Wow! My parents who live in Peachland rave about how good Peachland Sushi is. I’m up from the lower mainland and they wanted to take me out for dinner, so we came here. Our young blonde waitress was very good at her job, very attentive and polite. Our food arrived and it was delicious! We each ordered a dinner box and the amount of food we got was crazy!!!! Everything was hot and fresh and we all loved the big portion of fresh fruit that came with our meals. I would highly recommended here. Definitely will be back again……we are all so full and we have leftovers to bring home
