A must visit! They recently started doing Nighthawk again which is their Friday and Saturday night cocktail and tapas experience. I have been twice and both times it has been absolutely phenomenal. The cocktails are interesting, innovative, fun, and delicious. They recently added an Earl Grey martini to the menu which is amazing and my new favourite drink! The food is also incredible. The menu is so thoughtfully curated with an emphasis on fresh and high quality ingredients. The seafood is hands down the best in the area. Make sure to try their oysters and their ceviche (they currently have two different kinds and both are equally amazing, you really can’t go wrong). Finally, the atmosphere is amazing because the entire team is clearly passionate and excited about what they’re offering. It’s an incredibly welcoming space and everyone involved is not only knowledgeable about what you’re eating and drinking but they’re genuinely interested in hearing your feedback. Make this part of your weekend plans, you definitely won’t regret it.

Not really sure where to start. The drinks are good! The food was terrible. I had a sandwich with rotten lettuce, one slice of tomato that was the part with the stem, and my bagel was warm but definitely not toasted. My partner had a grilled cheese that randomly had mustard which was definitely not shown on the menu. The bread was so stale it fell apart when you touched it. The soup had a strange after taste and I guess I should have realized the weird glare from the cashier when we asked what soup they had should have been my hint to not order it. Considering that 2 drinks, 2 sandwiches and one soup was over $40 for that quality is horrifying. I should have told them when they asked how the meal was but I was honestly just more desperate to leave and new the till was broken so refunds were not in the question. This place has a lot of potential but needs a lot of work.

Wonderful place! Creative and fresh menu options and friendly service, they do a good job here! The buratta was wonderful as was the tuna. The Rueben bites wrapped in pastry (won ton rollers I believe) were tasty. The kitchen kindly let my sister (not a fish lover) order off the day menu and her mortadella sandwich with warmed honey and pistachios was to die for! My drink, the Penicillan (spelling??), a scotch based drink of wonder, came with a slice of candied ginger, alerting me to the creative adventure this place seems to pride itself on. Give it a try, everything we had was wonderful!

We were camping in nearby Awenda provincial park, and went into town hoping to find a nice place to stop for a coffee, drink or snack - just a chance to get away from the kids for a bit and have an enjoyable time out. We drove by the Kitty Hawk Cafe the first time - it's small and easy to miss, a real hole in the wall. But we turned around and i'm so glad we did. The atmosphere is the first thing you notice - it feels a lot more like your friend's comfortable living room than a restaurant. The music was a great eclectic mix from the '50's all the way through the '00's. We felt at home immediately. We scored a seat on one of the couches, and were served by the owner and her husband. They couldn't possibly have been friendlier, and insisted that we take all the time we needed even though closing time was soon. The menu is a diverse selection of fancy "foodie" type food, which i can get into because if i'm going to go out and spend money, i don't want something i can just whip up at home! We couldn't between two different platters, but the prices were reasonable enough that even a cheapskate like me didn't mind just ordering both! I'm not a big beer drinker at all, but they recommended a local craft brew that i actually enjoyed. We sat and relaxed, ate, drank, talked and even read our books, for over an hour, and it was one of the best times out i've had in years. So if you're anywhere near pennetang and need a good place to...

I can't recommend this place enough! The food is delicious - my favourite is the Hoagie! The drinks are delicious and hits the spot every time - their lattes are my go-to! There is something for everyone, and they are always mindful of dietary restrictions. Don't know what to order? The staff are more than happy to make recommendations based on your likes and restrictions. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming - staff are always smiling and a pleasure to deal with. They truly treat you like family! You also have the option of dining in, or getting your delicious treats to go. Aside from their food/drink menu, they also have a wide selection of plants, home decor, apparel, grooming products, and take-home food products like ground coffee, hot sauces, etc, which makes it a great place to shop for gifts, or if you'd like to spoil yourself! They also offer catering services and can accommodate large or small groups. Be sure to check out their charcuterie boards - aside from their aesthetic appearance, they are absolutely delicious and always use the freshest and highest quality ingredients. Overall, Cafe Kittyhawk is a must try, and you will not be disappointed - I would not be surprised if it turned into your new favourite cafe and have to...
