Rawson's Meat & Deli — Restaurant in Penetanguishene

For Thanksgiving this year we wanted to do a nice ham so I called Doug asking if he had any of those spiral cut hams we often see. He explained that he does not carry those instead he offers a custom sliced black forest ham that they tie for ease of roasting. He asked how many we were feeding and then tailored the ham to meet our needs and then some. Never have I had a ham turn out so delicious and the slices were perfect. You all know how much I enjoy quality food and this was hands down the best ham we have ever dined upon, we are definitely going to do this for all our holiday hams in the future, exceptional quality...

Deli section was disappointing. No salads out, yet was told over the phone they had a variety. The only dill pickles they had were bottled dills. The bread was the same as you get at any grocery store deli. The European packaged rye.
