One of the employees at the 1402 Main Street location in Penticton BC..... Kiren was extremely helpful when I mentioned there wasn't a coupon available in the most recent coupon book for an individual Bacon & Egger combo. She provided me the order at the coupon price without hesitation. I am a low income disabled senior on a limited income so I was very pleased with this excellent service from this young woman. She is a very polite, friendly and caring person who went the extra mile to assist me. More people like her are needed in the fast food industry. My experience at this location was superb as far as customer service is concerned. I love that I can get a breakfast sandwich combo with hash browns....not fries....any time of the day not like at other fast food restaurants that only serve hash browns until 11am or worse yet no breakfast items after 10:30 am. I like to have the egg cooked a little softer but I forgot to specify that so the egg was a little too overcooked for my liking. Next time I will remember to ask for that. Great job and keep up the good...

Pf the various fast food chains, A&W is by far my favorite when it comes to breakfast choices. But I had an ugly experience in a location of theirs on Skaha Lake Road in Penticton. First off, their Big Canadian breakfast is priced around $1.50 more than the same breakfast in Vancouver. Nobody could explain why. But anyhow, I ordered bacon and egg on an English muffin with hash brown patty and coffee. I watched my muffin halves being placed in a toaster by a kitchen staff member who, immediately after placing the muffins in the toaster (no protective gloves) wiped the back of her hand against her nose. I cancelled my order, was given my money back, and that person was simultaneously and loudly criticized by the person who had served me. Even in normal times this is disgusting...but during another outbreak of covid...one more virulant/transmissable than ever, this was bery...

We were at the drive through for this location three separate occasions in the past 2 weeks and the service was horrible. First time they would not take anyone’s orders until the car at the window had their food and left. We were sitting waiting to order for 15 minutes. The second time we had ordered we were told to drive through the drive through again behind a few cars that were waiting to order just so the person behind us could receive his one apple turnover when we only ordered 3 buddy burgers. This most recent time was the same as the first, waiting 15 mins for our order to even be taken, and when the employee finally spoke to us he was very rude. I love A&W burgers I think they’re some of the best fast food options out there however due to this service I am not impressed at all and will never be...
