So disgusted! I came to this McDonald's just after 7am and was the only customer at the tills. I ordered 2 sausage mcmuffins, there was no sausage ready so they proceeded to make some, after the cook put the patties in the warming tray she asked the teller if she thought they were cooked enough and they read the temp with a thermometer still unsure "I guess so" was overheard. I was then served the undercooked cold sausage. I asked for two more to be cooked as these were cold still, after they tossed out the previous batch and cooked a new one, the teller proceeded to then step back into the kitchen to make my sandwiches in order to speed up the process... The problem with this is... moments before she stepped back there she had been cleaning the counter with a rag, and even reached into the garbage can looking for a previous reciept. I questioned the employee as to why she would make my sandwich without washing her hands after they were clearly in the garbage. She refunded my money and apologised as she was new to this location... I filed a complaint with the general manager for the McDonald's in penticton. I will NEVER go back.. absolutely disgusting...
Read moreManagers actually know their customers. Friendly managers who greet customers with enthusiasm. They're pretty much short-staffed every day and they try their very best in accommodating to all customers. I've seen some customers who are pretty rude to them or take things with them for granted. This is a small chain store with limited number of staff, unlike the one in Main St., just bear with them with your orders. They take delivery, in-store, and online orders - so they are spread very thin. I've never had a bad encounter with those who serve me at this location. I think the busy hours chart on Google reflects the correct information that shows you when exactly they're at most capacity. It gets busier at summers with tourists...
Read moreFood is typical of any McDonald's. This location is open 24 hours however as soon as the sun goes down the parking lot becomes crowded with vagrant homeless people. They come up to your car and ask you for money and sometimes have shopping carts with items in it and three or four or five people standing around looking menacing. Last time I went through this drive-thru there was a person walking hunched over like a zombie and you couldn't leave the drive-thru because they were standing in the way. Also check your meals because frequently at this location I've had items not be in my bag after...
