Long story....placed an order for 13 peice meal through Valley Eats....time was pushed back 3 times...so it took 1 1/2hr to receive order!! Once received it was missing the lg Tators...I msged ....the restaurant closed so we could not get them!! Next morning I messaged Valleyeats asking if a lg fries could be delivered that day so I could use my large gravy I also paid for....the restaurant refused!! Said they would credit my Valleyeats account $9.59 for Lg fries....I asked to be re-embursed for lg gravy as it was useless without fries!! Restaurant refused again!! I also noted that lg fries are $10.59 on website not $9.59??? Still no attempt to resolve from restaurant!! I then reached out to restaurant myself...I called and asked for a Manager...the person on phone said there was not one there. I then asked when one would be there. The woman on phone replied 4pm. She then asked if I would like to speak with the owner and I replied absolutely!! Then she replied "you are speaking to her"...OK why did you not identify yourself immediately as the owner?? So I proceed to express my frustration about the missing food and length of time we waited for our order. She then blamed Valleyeats stating she doesnt control the drivers...by this point I am getting angry!! All I want is what is fair to me... I asked to have fries delivered today so I could utilize my lg gravy but she refused to do that, even though I paid for them the night before. She refused to re-emburse me for my lg gravy as I felt they should... as I had nothing to put gravy on...the owner refused....when asked what I would use my gravy for...her response was that it was not up to her to tell me how to eat my gravy!! What??? What type of unhelpful response was that??? So, now Im angrier trying to explain myself...the owner insults me...calls me rude and aggressive... I explain that I too, work in Customer Service, and how I understand the importance of pleasing paying customers to the best of their ability....and that I felt that the restaurant should be willing to do that...she became angry, insulted me and then hung up on me!!
It is so unfortunate as we had just recently tried this restaurant for the 1st time a week ago....loved it so much we decided to order again last night....however due to how I was spoken to and treated by owner....we wont be returning!!
Lesson..when you make a mistake....OWN IT!! Then make it right....in my experience thats all people want and expect...so just do the right thing!!

Read moreI'm not much of a deep fried chicken fan because I've never had a good experience at any of the fried chicken chains. So I ordered the over priced chicken sandwich as a back up in case I didn't like the chicken. Well my dog had a snack when we got home! Lmao This was yet another fail! Was so disappointed with quality for the cost. Extremely disappointed! Bought this for my family to dine in. Wasn't pleased with quality. The wedges weren't even hot or fresh the chicken was same way. If you want a bland, cardboard tasting, luke warm chicken dinner that's over priced you've found the spot! The staff are friendly but weren't very reliable at filling the order properly or asking you for what options you'd like. Me as a new customer never been there before would assume to be "walked" through it. That definitely didn't happen. Asked what options we had and tried to puzzle it together myself (I have bad eyes and didn't have my glasses on so that didn't help matters, don't worry I didn't drive!). We had to go up several times to ask for things they forgot that were missing and the key components to the dinner. I was respectful and patient as I knew this was newly opened and figured the staff were a bit new to the job or not trained properly.

I visited so many locations all over Canada but the last time I went to Petawawa location, I was very disappointed. I ordered the Buffalo and Nashville taters. The Buffalo Mary is supposed to be nice, juicy, spicy and saucy.. it was dry and chicken didn’t taste the normal Mary browns good stuff. The taters were greasy and disgusting. The person who made them didn’t take the oil off or the extra stuff, they just packed it as is with the dirty oil. Worker was nice but she was abit nervous in taking orders, maybe new to the job but it’s ok workers at this location are nice. Unfortunately, the Food quality is going down… they need to step up and keep up with the regular quality. I would give it another chance and try again but it will be my last choice to...
