Mediocre at best . If your looking for traditional Italian food go elsewhere. The chicken Parm was served to us burnt with a side of Luke warm penne , we sent it back ( not sure why they would serve it to us in the first place ) they made us a new one which also came back over cooked bordering burnt . We also had the linguine with meat balls , overall a good dish although the tomato sauce needs improvement as it gave us both acida ( heartburn) I asked for some grated Parmesan to put on my pasta , later I saw it on the bill for $3.50 . Since when does an Italian restaurant charge you for grated cheese for your pasta ? What's next charging for tomato sauce ? We thought that was a bit ridiculous and have never been charged for this in any restaurant ever . Not a good experience , by the time my wife got her second chicken parm delivered to the table I had already finished my meal. They brought 2 brioche buns to the table and they were more or less bite size , we had to ask for some real hearty bread and some olive oil and balsamic for dipping which apparently is not something they they normally offer unlike most other Italian restaurants . There was no word from management regarding the substandard dish that was served to us , no offer of an appetizer or aperitivo for an apology , not even "oh we screwed up we're sorry " ... crickets ! We only had 2 entrees and a $40 bottle of wine and for what we recieved we thought the bill was excessive . The music was too loud and not the type of music one would expect in an Italian restaurant. On a good note , the ambiance was nice and the seating was very comfortable . Would...
Read moreTonight was our one of many visits .We made it our to go spot for special occasions. This is how much we like it. Whoever, tonight was a different experience. I ordered the booth to celebrate special event. Upon entering the stuff offered us table in the middle of the room. When I mentioned the booth on reservation request, they said that it doesn't show on reservation. We were offered booth by the door afterwards with cold air blowing every time someone comes in. Our waitress stated that this is her first day, which is fine, as long as the service is good which wasn't. We were not informed about the soup of the day, she wasn't aware about dishes descriptions. We ordered sparkling water and got spring water instead. My husband ordered Spaghetti and meatballs and got the lobster mac and cheese brought in. Eventually he get meatballs and apologies. We have to ask another server for salt and cheese, none was offered or on the table. We saw other patrons being served by another waitress, and she was very knowledgeable and personable.Usually you get free drink or dessert when stuff mixed up the order. Nothing being offered to us. We were hoping to stay for dessert but they informed us that they run out of cheesecake yesterday. To be fare, the food was delicious as usual. So is the ambience. It was a very special day for us. I would say it was pretty much ruined. We probably will be back to give another try. This is normally very nice place weth great food and...
Read moreMy husband and I went here for the first time the other night based off our friends strong recommendation and we’re so glad we did! The restaurant has a very cozy and classy atmosphere and extremely clean. Our server was so friendly and pleasant as well. But when it comes to the food - I can’t even begin to explain how great it was! We ordered the meatballs as a starter and you could tell the sauce and meatballs were so fresh and a great size. I don’t usually order gnocchi but I decided to try their gnocchi dish with spicy sausage in a red pesto with toasted pine nuts and honestly it was the best thing I’ve ordered in a restaurant thus far. I was SO excited to see such a unique and flavourful dish appear and the gnocchi was not overpowering the dish or make it feel ‘heavy’ at all. The owner Marty who is so pleasant stopped to chat with us and told us it is rolled and made FRESH in house and you can definitely taste the difference between a fresh pasta and most other restaurants with frozen and reheated food. My husband ordered their burger and fries and loved it - the fries have a great and generous seasoning to them. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant and the only thing that upset me was that I forgot my leftover container on the table when we left! :( Was so looking forward to having it for lunch the next day. We will definitely...
