I've been visiting Cobs Breads in Brookdale Plaza pretty much once a week since shortly after they opened. I now buy their bagels weekly rather than grocery store brands. I eat one on the way home while it's still HOT, and freeze the rest after they cool and take one out the day I plan on eating it. Great tasting bagels, excellent texture. Hope you like poppy seeds. I pick up some of their scones once in a while as a treat - so good, moist and full of fruit. My wife likes the cinnamon, I enjoy the lemon blueberry. The cinnamon rolls are so tender as well. Today, I used a coupon for a free loaf of bread when buying a 6 pack of scones. I tried the Vienna sourdough and omg it was so warm and soft when I got home, hacked off the end to eat immediately. And then made a sammich. The crust is thick, the bread is airy and yet dense at the same time. Amazing toasted. The lineup can be 4 or 5 deep sometimes, but they are fairly efficient, and the brief wait is well worth it. The staff are pleasant, and quick to offer help if they see you standing around just enjoying the smells. There is an app with rewards points, so give it a look if you plan on being a regular. So glad this Cobs finally opened.

Recommended by a friend to check out Cobs. As soon as you walk in, the smell is incredible! Everything is freshly baked each day and anything left at the end of the day is donated. I tried the chocolate croissant, cinnamon scone, wild blueberry custard, and the cheese & ham pullapart. There was so much to choose from, I'll be back to try more! Everything was so fresh and delicious!

I love this place. My favourite Canadian Bakery starting today. The Gingerbread was Light as it should be. It's not dessert. It's bread, matched that perfectly. The Lemon Blueberry was a 7/10. Service was so friendly & love the theme of the bakery. I will come back & try more flavours.

Real bakery, real bread. We stopped by this place when visiting Peterborough and picked up few things to try. I am not into pastry that much, but I love good bread. The sourdough breads at this store are absolutely great. When you hold a loaf, it has weight to it (rare thing these days), and the bread is fresh!, tastes great, and loaded with good and nutritious ingredients. My wife and the kids are move versatile in their taste so we also got few different scones, buns, croissants, and their ā€˜applelicious’ thing, and everything was a hit! The store is very neat and the staff is friendly. I also liked that you can see straight into the bakery where all the stuff is made, there is something nice about that. Btw, some of their items are a great option if you need a quick bite to eat (and a good value too), and if you could grab a cup of coffee on the spot it would be really it. Great find, and looking forward...

Cobb’s Bread is such a treat! The moment you walk in, you are welcomed by the amazing smell of freshly baked goodness. They sell bread, buns, and sweet treats like their cinnamon buns. There’s a wide variety to choose from, and everything looks and tastes wonderful. I love that they offer free samples—not just bite-sized, but even full slices of bread so you can really try before you buy.

It’s always quick and easy to pop in, pick up what you need, and be on your way. Plus, they have a rewards program you can sign up for online to collect points with each purchase. This location (like most Cobb’s) is located in a strip plaza, so parking is never an issue.

The only downside for me is that prices have gone up quite a bit—for example, a dozen dinner rolls used to be around $5 and are now closer to $8 (as of Sept 2025). Still, the freshness, quality, and variety keep me coming back. Love, love,...
