Firehouse Subs Lansdowne Peterborough — Restaurant in Peterborough

Where do I begin... I was at firehouse subs yesterday, April 26th, around 3pm. I was the only customer in the store so being busy is no excuse. There were two young ladies working there. The one was fabulous. The one who served me however, is now the reason I won't be going back to this location. Even though its the only one in ptbo, I'd rather go without then experience the same level of service I received yesterday. I ordered the cheddar brisket sub. She never once smiled, and she even ignored me when I received my sub and i said "thank you have a nice day." She just turned around and walked away. Absolutely appalling. Then my next issue is, there are only 4 ingredients on the sub i ordered, the meat, cheese, mayo and bbq sauce. So on top of the fact that the young lady was extremely unpleasant, she forgot the bbq sauce on my sub. When I went back to get this fixed, she stared at me like a deer in headlights. She never ONCE apologized. She never said anything. She made me feel so awkward I even apologized for complaining and said if I had BBQ sauce at home I would just apply it myself. Which is ridiculous seeing as I paid 15 dollars for this sub. The other young lady actually stepped in and offered me solutions and she apologized. The fact that she was so unpleasant to be served by, then to have her scew up a 4 ingredient sub, then continue to be rude when I went back, it just shocks me this...

Do not go to this firehouse subs. We ordered custom subs and they completely ignored and disregarded everything we said. When we brought home the subs and nothing that we'd ask for was on it and I called the store to complain. Their response was to make us drive the 20 minutes back into town to return the subs after making a send in pictures of the sub to confirm that everything was missing. When we were in the store we asked the guy if everything was in the bag and he said yes, upon looking he had forgotten the Oh jousauce that came with the subs, his response was to call the manager who completely disregarded our complaint. I have contacted head office. In addition the containers of the sauce only had a tiny little bit in it, When I asked for apple juice he handed me orange juice, and I asked for black olives on the side and was handed a container of banana peppers.. yet it's our mistake. I'm not sure what kind of Mickey mouse operation is being run at this store but it's absolutely ridiculous. Make sure to check your food before you leave. My roommate went to get a sub here. Super excited to try this place one more time after having a rather mediocre experience. The line was long, one staff member decided to sweep while he was waiting and Shoo him around the floor while he was trying to remain socially distanced. The cups were out in the open individually standing with straws for anyone to touch, cough on or have debris fall into - which was gross. Roommate finally got his sub after a 25 min wait (which happens sometimes at dinner time). We return home to find a rather bland sub which he didn't realize he had to give further direction to receive any type of moisture or toppings. The biggest insult was while eating he pulled a massive long hair out of his mouth and was still in the center of the sandwich simultaneously. It belonged to neither of us and was inside of the toppings in the food which was never exposed again after intial production. After his discovery and then finding more of it in the 2nd half of his sub, he threw his $15 dinner away. We do NOT recommend this place after 2 attempts and failures. We...
