Pretty bad experience! I was looking forward to a night out with my partner and some good food and it turned out to be incredibly disappointing.
The service was extremely slow. I ordered a drink and there was a problem with their keg, so they asked if I wanted a can instead - yeah, sure, I understand these issues happen. I got my drink and poured most of it before seeing there was a dead bug in it. Had to wait about 10-15 minutes before the food was brought to tell the waitress. She did not take the glass back with her - I waited several more minutes before a different waitress came up and asked if I wanted a new can/glass. I said yes, and oh boy do I regret that.
My partner and I were half done our food by the time the new one showed up (a little less than 10 minutes later). I was about to pour this one and saw lipstick marks on the glass. I was officially done eating as I'd lost my appetite completely, even though the food had been good.
We waited another long stretch and I told the waitress about the glass and gave it back to her. The hostess showed up a few minutes later and said she'd take my food and both of the un-drank drinks off the bill.
If that had happened, this would be a four star review.
My partner paid, trusting that the bill would be reduced by the cost of my food and drinks. It was not. It should have been close to $30 for his drink and food. The total he got was $66. He spent $30 on drinks that I did not drink because they were served disgustingly. We went up to the host and asked for it to be rectified and instead of putting the $30 on the card he used to pay, he's been given an in-house credit - which is hilariously useless, as neither of us plan on ever returning to this location. My partner and I had assumed before she handed it to him that it would be a gift card usable at other BP locations, but no.
We were too stunned and tired to take it further and simply left. I looked at the receipt again after we left because it should have been closer to $15, not $30, and realized that they'd charged him for the draught I never received AT ALL because of the keg issues!
This was straight up theft on BP management's part. I'm absolutely stunned at how poorly we were treated here and I'm going to inform everyone I know that this restaurant is horrible and cares only for squeezing as much money out of you as they can with as little service...
Read moreTerrible experience. Not at all kid friendly. Shat resturant brings out adult meals almost 10min before the kids meals. This was after waiting over an hour for our food. We were there for 2 hours and did not eat. We watched people come in around us and get their drinks and food before us. We waited over 30 minutes just to order our drinks and food another 20 to receive them. We were ready after 10min, which was when we were first greeted and told we would be right back. My kids were starving and when they saw our food, chaos broke out since we had already been waiting for over an hour for our food and had been sitting there for almost 2 hours at this point. I know they were busy but it was clear that our sever needed help and it wasn't until after he took our order and a couple of others, he finally received it. I had the hostess and event coordinator manager notice we didn't have food or drinks while people were enjoying their drinks and almost half way through; and they came in over 20min after us. Not that all this wasn't enough, we asked for our salad we had ordered, never got it, so we got it to go. There was no head resturant manager (Larry) during this busy time, only the assistant manager who was apparently helping out in the kitchen. Where is the manager and why was he not there helping out when they were literally sinking. We asked for a manager and didn't get one until we got our food and it was bedtime for our kids. This establishment is not well run and has been going downhill for years. We spent over $100 there just to sit for 2 hours and have our kids complain after seeing so many people come in after us and get their food and drinks. We shouldn't be getting our food the same time as people that came in over a half an hour BEFORE us, are now leaving. We should not be getting our food the same time as the people that walked in an hour AFTER us..no matter how busy it was. This is not the first time this has happened but the 2nd time within the year. Last time we were here, almost a year ago, same thing happened. We tried to give it a chance. It isn't run the same as it was in the past. Corey your resturant is going downhill.. We will NEVER be back to this...
Read moreThe food is the same as any other BP, it's good, but overpriced. My issue is with the kids spaghetti. I asked the waitress if she could make sure that the spaghetti actually had sauce on it this time. She apologized for past experience and said the sauce will be on the side. The meal comes and again it comes with a thimble of sauce. Like not even enough to wet the noodles. So I asked, can I please have sauce so that my son can actually have a plate of spaghetti and not just dry noodles. She said it's extra charge. I repeated that all I'm looking for is spaghetti with decent sauce. They boast about serving Italian food yet, leave lots to be desired. She comes back with another thimble of sauce. No word of a lie, it's 3 tablespoons of sauce. The dish isn't even full of sauce and has the audacity to bill me $3. So now I'm paying $13+ for $1.00 pasta, $1.00 worth of lettuce for the salad, $3.00 for the additional sauce which should be valued at $0.75, $0.75 for the sauce it came with and $0.10 for the 2 specks of beef in the sauce. What a joke. You bet you will hear from me tmrw and any other time I choose to enter your restaurant. You can buy a better sauce than what your serving for $2. That's highway robbery for sauce. You want to be in the customer business sector, try pleasing your customers. Server ended up paying for it with her reduced tip. (Don't get me started...
