I just experienced the worst customer experience of my life at your location. As a local resident and frequent patron of your location, you have lost my business forever. I will never return!!!
While waiting for my order, I was asked to pull up and park in a waiting spot. Seeing as it is a freezing cold night and there was no one behind us, I said I would prefer to wait at the window. The gentleman informed me that our car was on a pressure plate which was timing them against other stores. I reiterated that I preferred to wait at the window given the weather and that no one was behind us.
Everything was fine until a couple minutes later when a person (who I later learned was the line cook), came to the window and in a very belligerent tone, told me I was ruining his times, and this was the last time he was going to ask me to move my car forward. Is he threatening me? What's he going to do if I don't move my car? I couldn't believe what had just happened and neither could my twelve year old daughter who was sitting in the passenger seat.
A young woman came to the window and apologized. She wasn't a manger, as I learned the gentleman standing behind her was. This young woman, who I assume is an hourly employee, did more to try and rectify the situation than any one else, including the manager.
I asked for a refund. I was given $5 and change. When I mentioned that I paid over $40, the manager told me the $5 was for one fillet-o-fish and the rest of the order was ready. I asked if a member of my family was supposed to go without their fillet-o-fish while the rest of us ate our meals?
I could clearly sense the manager was annoyed that I wanted a full refund, as he laid the bag of our food to the side and loudly declared, that we didn't want our food anymore.
You are in the fast food business, deliver the food in a timely manner and stop asking customers to go park their cars so you can meet internal business metrics. And don't ever let an employee speak to a customer the way I was spoken to. Your customer service is in the crapper and your business will be too if you keep treating...

Food - Our burgers could use some love as everything just slapped together with under cooked 🍟 that could not even stand on their own without bending over. I was kind of surprised when I saw the server picked up 4 🍎 pies which were sitting on the counter and went to where the rest of the pies were stored to picked up the other 2. We reached inside the bags for our 🍎 pies after our meals and discovered that 4 out of 6 🍎 pies had no stickers on them and had been opened as the flips were not totally closed and secured. They were also colder than the other two. When I went to the counter and asked to have them exchange, the server said out loud that it was next to impossible that they were cold and had no stickers on as he was the one putting them in the bags for us. I asked him whether he was implying that we were lying. He ignored my question to his rude and unfound accusation and went to ask the manager whether he should give us new pies. Really?! This guy put the returned pies on the other side of the counter and tried to tell me to go away as I got new pies. I told him I wasn't going anywhere until I see him throwing those pies in the 🗑️. After I was questioning whether he was going to recycle ♻️ those pies to other customers, he finally threw them in the trash reluctantly!
Later on, I went to complaint to the manager of his unfound accusation and asked for his name (staff at this McD do not wear their name tags), but got declined. The manager said sorry while looking away from me. She offered me a small coffee for the inconveniences. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???

In my almost 60 years, I've spent thousands upon thousands of dollars at McD's all across Ontario but this is 1 loyal customer you have lost. My latest order a few days ago was not only totally wrong {the staff didn't care to make it correctly because the store was very busy, even though a printed sheet with my exact order was handed to them} but, as a result, I ended up having to throw the better part of a $60 order in the garbage!!! I can't stand lettuce on Big Macs for example or, any of the usual condiments on any of the other burgers I order so therefore if my food isn't made to order, it ends up being inedible. I used to work at the Lansdowne location in my teens, back when that was the only franchise from PTBO. to at least Oshawa. Our store was run with impeccable precision, the best/friendly and lightning speed service ... all the while serving the food precisely as our guests ordered and expected.
